Yes..... I had the head hunger... I had my surgery on the 10th, I have lost 20lbs.... I couldn't take the protein drinks either but I got approval for cottage cheese .. I ate jello, to satisfy my chewing cravings... And Greek yogurt .... When my family had real food, I compensated with broth... It gets better... Trust me... I'm very happy I did it. Now I drink the protein drinks , eat my yogurt and peeled fruit...

Yes.... They have protein capsules... 20mg per capsule... It's whey protein... Got it from a body builders store... I swallow them just like when I take my b12

I had my surgery on the 10th, I'm doing fine. Constipation gone, I found a medical supply place that has bariatric vitamins cheap.. So I'm taking whey protein capsules, vitamins , all I can do is take very small bites, eggs, cottage cheese soup, jello, etc. no problems just can't do sweets, no desire.

Hi I had my surgery on the 10th, I'm recovering.... Started full liquids and soft foods yesterday , taking my Protein first thing in morning before my walk... So far the toughest thing for me is the head hunger, slowly getting over it, now that I can substitute things... It's a road that I'm looking forward to travelling.

I went through kaiser south San Fran.... Be doctor ever, 1 day preop diet lost 3lbs.. Had my sleeve on the 10th.... And now in fighting the head games... Getting better each day.

It feels weird drinking, I can only handle a little at a time... But the gas moving around really really hurts.

3days post sleeve , and I'm feeling pretty Good dr. Put me on protein drink and water right away.

Well tomorrow is my day and I'm super excited and scared... Scheduled for 9:15...

Saw my surgeon today,so excited... Received the preop packet, I asked the doctor if I needed to bring a heating pad, pillow etc. he said no, that they will supply everything I need.... Does anyone have any suggestions of what I may need so I can ask for it.

My protein drink has 42 grams of protein... They were recommended by my dietician ... I'm so use to them now, I can't go without.

I'm doing the same , protein drinks.. I like the EAS myloplex , for breakfast, and the fage 0% with a little fresh fruit, sensible dinner.... I have an appointment on the 3rd..

I think you are making the right decision.. I'm a RN as well and I'm scheduled for the 10th.... I can't wait, I am having the same fears, I've even asked husband if he will still find me attractive, after I lose the weight.. He said it didn't matter, as long as I was healthy. Everyone I have talked to said I look fine the way I am, but they are not the ones carrying around this weight... I am sure you've tried everything like me, and I know you want to be around for your kids like me.. So don't worry you are going to do great !!!!! Good luck!

Have you tried simethecone infant drops, mix 10 drops with 15cc of water and drink it , it helps with nausea and gas.
