I am 3 weeks post op im on puree stage acid reflux is like hell I vant sleep at night and the passed 2 days have been constant pain

I confess that i am sick n tired of this sleeve I. Confess i can not eat more than a bite or sip before i cant take the pain anymore I confess that i havent been taking my Vitamins or Protein Shakes as i should (a little but not enough) I confess that i cant bare the taste of my liquid Calcium I confess that i wouldnt wish gas indigestion or acid reflux on anyone

2 weeks. I was sleeved on 12/28 . Every friday I advance a stage. Now im officially on stage 3

Ok today I blended a lean cusine and had only a few bites. It was garlic roasted chicken with spinach. I have alot left. No pain going down. I actually had more pain in stage 2 and 1

Im pretty sure this is the same problem i am haveing. I can not take my meds because they are capsuls

someoneThis thread is supposed to be about a hunger feeling that is not hunger. Actually its acid reflux. I have prevacid but i am not able to take them because they are capsuls so i am stuck with acid reflux and heartburn which feels like hunger

in th begining i felt hunger pain untill someone told me it was reflux. i had capsuls and called oncall doctor he gave me the ok to take prevacid capsuls and then it got worsee. i was in soo muxh pain. and the reflux enhanced. now it actually feels like reflux comin thru my throat rather than a hunger pain. i could not sleep last night due to reflux. today ibcalled my doctors office they said i should not have takin capsul and from now on empty and crush the med i did so today i think it helped a little with reflux.

im almost 2 weeks post op and experienceing terrible acid reflux and gas. what can i do about the gas. i cant go to the store too get over the counter meds help the pain is killing me i dont even want to eat

so i took you guys advice an assume it was acid reflux or heartburn i call mymy on call doctor told him i think im haveing acid reflux and that i have prescribed prilosec but they were capsules and should i take them he said yes so i took them. it wa hard to swallow and then i felt terrible all day not just hunger pain but more discomfort. now this evening im very gassy an it feels a bit better. the gas pains are terrible i havent experienced this until now

i have been wanting to taste that but isnt ther tomato sauce? idk just asking . anyways today i had cream of shrimp yum too i cant wait to have real seafoo lol

what? how can acid reflux or heartburn hurt in my belly? after my endoscope preop it showed that i didb have acid reflux my primary doctor perscribe prilosec and fish oil for high colesterol i havent been taking them bc of surgery. ill have to call my doctor an see if im able to

why am i so hungry? immediately after i eat i am hungry. its un comfortable

the passed three days i have been very very on the edge i had to have me some protien today

just came back from my one week post op visit to my doctor. he gave me the okay to start full liquids starting on Friday. I said are u sure u dont want me to start tonight lol he said no i told him how my body aches and im so weak i need protien at least. he said no lol i continued and he finally says only protienprotein. so i walked out a happy camper! and im taking little sips of my muscle milk right now. hopeing not to get sick

oh wow. salmon is my absolute favorite im really worried about dumping syndrome. is something that passes eventually or is it just something you will deal with forever

everyday i experience a very minor feeling i am currently 6 days post op an i have a doctors appointment today anyways i get a feeling of discomfort and i usually have to do a little upward stretch and then i burp the feeling away.

When I was leaving the hospital I showed the nurse as asked her to change my bandages and she said she isnt allowed to touch it the doctor would do so on my next visit.. My next visit is tomorrow btw I cant wait to have my post op visit. I need to go to the next stage. Im experienceing a bitof head hinger which is probably caused by my environment and tv. But I just have the urge to chew. I dont care if its raw broccolii lol I have a question. Are any of you guys taking protien shakes on first stage diet? Im not nut a friend I know is. Im just wondering if your doctors took u off of protien and Vitamins untill further notice? Now im a bit confused.maybe im the one who has the missunderstanding.

ii have been switching between jello crystal light and chicken broth... there is no way that im getting any protein or any other nutrition. am i doing my diet the wrong way? can someone give me some advice. everything is fine pain is gone unless i bend over or do something that is strenuous i feel like i could go for a 20 minute walk im just afraid but in house im pretty active. my next appointment is on jan 3rd im guessing they will promote me to stage 2 diet and hopefully get there terrible bandages off of me. my belly has been itching a bit i guess a sign of healing..

wish I had liquid meds. sounds good but would be difficult to swallow it all too fast... these chalky pills get stuck at the back of my tongue
