  1. I have everything in moderation (5 months out) and it's worked great for me! Everyone is different I guess
  2. I feel the same. I'm at 171 right now and have never been below a size 8/10. Right now I wear a 12 and I'm only a little over 5 months out. I would be happy even if I don't lose another pound, but my goal is to get back to a size 8. Anything below that is uncharted territory and a little scary! I've always felt I look better with a little curves - I don't want to be unhealthy looking!
  3. Thank you both!! Yes I'm loving clothes and outfits again! I still love my old trusty yoga pants too but we are seeing a lot less of each other, lol!!
  4. 51.4 lbs lost since 1/29/13, I'd still like to lose about 20-30 more!
  5. Thank you! That's awesome progress!!! congrats!
  6. thanks everyone! it's such a good feeling to read all of your comments! Courtoomp - YES EVERY OUNCE IS GOOD ENOUGH!! They all add up and over time, those ounces and lbs will make the biggest difference inside and out. So snap your fingers, twitch your neck and in your sassiess voice say to yourself, "YOU GO GIRL!" Congrats to everyone on their journey!
  7. I had this happen to me too! It went away after about 2 months.
  8. I've lost 50 with no exercise. However my energy level is higher now so I move around and am more active than before!
  9. they CERTAINLY will! I'm able to get my legs in boots now!
  10. Thanks JolieBug!!! I am so HAPPY and PROUD of you too!!!!! Glad you have you as a sleeve sister
  11. Surgery Date 1/29/13 Down 50 lbs and feeling great!! I still would like to lose about 20-30 more lbs. I haven't been this size in about 5 years and it feels great to see results! I did not have to do a pre-op diet so what I've lost has been post surgery. I eat everything in moderation (I have a sleeve of steel) - including sweets, Pasta, bread and yes, even fast food (AHH!) LOL - I just eat less. I'm not telling others to do what I do, or looking for comments/advice on my eating habits, I'm simply doing what works for ME! I haven't had any problems and the pay off has been amazing! I want to encourage ANYONE who is considering this surgery to really think about following through with it. It has been the BEST thing I've ever done for myself. My confidence and attitude has totally changed and I feel like my true self again. It has set me free from the bondage of food and guilt. I can't remember the last time I thought of a 'diet' or 'I shouldn't be eating this'.....those things are part of the past. Now I ENJOY my life again! I can't wait to see what the year brings - this is me 5 months out!
  12. Don't worry about the stalls, they will break! Happens to everyone so don't lose hope!
  13. Surgery date 1/29 S/W 223 C/W 176 Down 47 lbs! (I eat everything in moderation) only 30 more to go! love my sleeve!

  15. Sneezer and hiccupper here! Did it today in fact at lunch, LOL, and I knew it was time to stop eating! Nice little cue!
  16. Just the gown - I forgot to remove my undies when I changed into my hospital gown. I was so out of it from anesthesia by the time they took me back for surgery but I remember the nurse laughing and saying "Now Tiffany, you forgot to remove your underwear so we're going to take them off, ok?" I remember they thought it was funny - and when I left they had put them in a little plastic bag and sent them home with my husband! LOL!!!!! That is the only thing I remember until waking up for my new life!
  17. lost 40, would like to lose 40 more! DOS 1/29/13
  18. I too felt just like you! I am now a little over 3 months out and let me tell you, it gets better and better!
