  1. Thanks for all your replies! I know that I am 150% sure this is what I want and ready for the complete life change! I want my family to change as well so we all live healthier! If I ever get approved, I will be shooting for my goal weight!
  2. I have a question for all of you that have had this surgery. How much of your excessive weight have you lost? My surgeon said that I should lose about 60-70% of my excessive weight. I would like to lose all of it but I know that may be impossible. Or is it impossible?
  3. You will do just fine! Hope you have a speedy recovery! And please update us all!! But most of all take care of you!!
  4. I am so obsessed with the thought of being a smaller me! I told my husband today that this is my new Facebook! Hahaha I can't get enough information! And I haven't even finished my paperwork and classes!
  5. Congratulations! :fingerscrossed: The boss is okay with it and you can start your new life! Gosh I can't wait to be able to post my date!
  6. I started on December 13, 2012. I am 240 lbs with a BMI of 37.6 and I am 5'7". I am still working on getting approved. The original Patient Advocate stopped my process because she didn't think I would be approved without talking to my surgeon first. Needless to say, he was pissed and so was I. So now I am with another PA that will help me fight to get my surgery.
  7. My insurance just recently changed as of January...When did you start the process? I would love to be sleeved in Feb but I am shooting for April.
  8. Hello All! Well I live in South Carolina but I am in the process of getting to the point to have the surgery. Dr Blaney is my surgeon in Augusta, GA. I have a few more appointments to complete and then its submission time!
  9. Live in South Carolina but hopefully going to be sleeved in 2013 in Augusta,GA!
