This is not the easy way out. I just got home from being sleeved on 3/26 and the second day was pure hell. Im doing alot better now.

My surgery is on tuesday 3/26. I was feeling fine until I began to read these posts.......

I just received my pre and post op paper work. On this it says my surgery is 5/21. On my last appointment I was told my date was 3/21. Something is wrong here. Thats almost 3 months away. Im not doing that. I cant wait that long. Ive already put my medical Loa papers in. Cant call the Surgens office they are closed on Saturday. Im really upset.

I will be getting sleeved on March 21. Its been a long journey im glad I have a date. Countdown begins. I would have had a sooner date put I need The cpap machine. I have to get use to it. Getting it Saturday

Approval is good for 6 months.

I never needed anything from my pcp. In fact they day I got approved is the day I told her I was going to have the surgery. I think if you have a good sugren and good insurance coordinator you should be golden. What insurance do you have?

Has anyone out there been approved only to have their approval reversed? I know its a crazy question. I was approved on monday and my appointment to see my surgen and to get my surgery date is on feb/20. Just wondering if something this crazy could happen?

I think its a longshot. Maybe if he can prove that it is medically necessary. Read his jobs policys. See if he can find some sort of loop hole. Good luck tho homie.

Aetna covers weight loss surgery. They approved me. Its his job that dosent offer it. And I dont know if there is anything he can do about that.

I was approved today!!!!!!! So excited.

My Aetna coordinator just called me. I was approved with no problems. I knew before my insurance coordinator knew. I love Aetna.

Ohh. I had mine done and @ 6:am it was over, by 8:am the same day they called and told me I had moderate to severe sleep apnea. If its bad you will hear from them sooner.
