All of my December sleevers...
Hey y'all I've been very discouraged lately. I haven't lost any weight but I can see inches falling off. I am almost at my six month mark and I've lost a total of 85lbs 60 since surgery. I am going to try the five day pouch test y'all recommended. I don't know if stress has anything to do with my inability to loose weight now. Like many o you know My husband deployed three days post my surgery and we've had 9 casualties which impacted me quite a bit.. I've lost all interest in eating and most days find myself just wanting to drink coffee. My energy is horrible and I will admit I don't take my B12 vitamins because I forget. I want to thank everyone for their awesome support and words of wisdom. I am just ready for this deployment to be over with an can't wait to see a change in me soon.

Any words of advice?
Hey y'all on Thursday I started running a fever, body aches and chills and had a ton of nausea. This continued on with diarrhea through to today sorry for TMI. I had to go to the ER because of dehydration and it turned out I had kidney infection but what was more concerning was they said I had an enlarged spleen and elevated liver enzymes. Has anyone ever had this happen to them. In addition, I haven't been able to eat since Wednesday and I feel very weak. I can't even carry my 12 month old. Every time I try eating my stomach hurts so I've just been drinking fluids but start with nausea. Any words of advice or wisdom are much appreciated. I am 5 months post op.

All of my December sleevers...
Hey Y'all, I was sleeved on 12-17 and I am doing great. Recently I have had people comment that I look thin... WHAAATTT... Now I have been described as many things "THIN" is not one of them. I am happy yet frustrated because I am now able to buy clothes in the regular area of stores no more Plus sizes I am fitting in a MED/LARGE shirt and Large pants. I have spoken to my doctors and no longer see my slow progress as a bad thing. I have gotten to the point where I am content where I am at and if I were never to loose one more ounce of weight I would be okay with it. I feel much healthier and love the fact that I can keep up with my children (age ranging from 4yrs-11months). I know I will still loose more but I am just so excited to be where I am. I hope everyone is doing well!

Who has been more supportive - your fat friends or your skinny friends?
I've gotten more support from FRIENDS in general rather then my family. Then again they are all overweight. Now they exclude me, because their entire day consists of eating.

3 months post Op ( B/A picts)
Agreed, my family at first kept on asking if no was sure I wanted to do this. I was ready I didn't even get nervous before surgery. I am grateful I would do this again in a heartbeat. I know the first few weeks are rough, but this is to us being HEALTHIER!

3 months post Op ( B/A picts)
Thanks y'all its been really easy for me to go to the gym after I drop the kids off at school. I am there by 8 am and work out until I can't take it anymore. At the Beginning of my journey I was really sad and didn't think I would loose the weight. But now I know it's only a matter of time. I can't wait until my husband sees me, he left 4 days after my surgery.
