  2. Losing slow is the best way. As long as you are loosing pounds or inches in your clothes you are winning the battle. Even no loss (no gain) is a cheering moment. Sometimes your body needs time to stabilize and adjust to the large amounts of weight loss. Hang in there. Great job.

  10. Don't give up but don't focus on those last 10 pounds for a week or two. Take a dancing class ballroom,line dance or something else fun like that might just be what you need to get loosing kick started again. My son got married in October and we took dance lessons. I had a blast and lost a pound or two in the process. Don't give up.

  12. A year. It has been a year. An awesome year. 12/21/12 sleeved along side my sleeve buddy thecurvyjones. I am rocking this sleeve and loving the decision to use Dr Alvarez. I raise my protein shake to toast all the 2012 December sleevers. Here's to you!

  16. One year......whoop whoop.... Happy Surgerversary!!!!!!!! I was sleeved 12/21/2012 by Dr Alvarez in Pedras Negros Mexico. My sleeve buddy was Thecurvyones. Having the sleeve was the best desision I ever made and it has been an awesome journey. ....... Surgery weight 209 12/21 weight 141 Total post surgery loss ..... 68 pounds..... clothes sizes pants 6/8 and shirt small/ medium dependong on brand. I can't remeber the last time I have worn a small.....I have not had any issues with food tolerance. This website and thread has been amazing in helping with encouragement and information. Special thanks to Endobariatrics and thecurvyjones for all the YouTube videos.... AWESOME....my ultimate weight goal is 135 and I hope to make that by February 14. I loose very slowly and there have been times that was discouraging but reading others posts always helped me to realize I was not the only one battling that issue. Thanks and congratulations to all December sleevers. Wishing each of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2014.

  20. Sleeved 12/21 coming up on surgaversary surgery weight 209 size 16/18. current weight 144 size 6/8. sleeved in. Pedras Negras Mexico with Dr Guillermo Alvarez. Best decision I have ever made. I have had no issues or problems. Goal weight is 135 pounds I will not make it by my 1 year mark but that's OK. I loose very slowly these days. I gave myself 18 months to make goal from day one so I consider myself still on track. All the encouragement from this site and keeping up with my sleeve buddy Thecurvyjones has kept me moving forward. Thanks everyone it has been an amazing year!

Sleeved 12/21 Surgery weight 202 Today 167 Total loss 35 pounds since surgery Best decision I ever made Clothes size ranges from a 8 to a 12 depending on brand Loss has been very slow but I have done great. I can eat anything although I do not. I have not been sick and have had ZERO Complications. Thank you to all those who share their experiences and advice on this site. Everyone take care of yourselves.
  23. Sleeved 12/21 Starting weight 216 Surgery weight 202 Weight 4/9/2013 168 34 pounds lost since VSG!! No issues no problems no hairlloss so far. Sleeved by Guillermo Alvarez in Mexico. Best decision for me. Highly recommend. Love reading all the success stories, advise, even the bad experiences posted on this site.
