  1. You are moments away, my friend. I can't wait for you!!!!!!! CONGRATS on your new life. Xoxo
  2. I chew gum and I drink out of straws and it doesn't seem to really having an affect. I'm always thirsty so I carry a water bottle and it increases my water intake it's a win-win
  3. I remember needing something to wear to an event and the anxiety of trying on clothes was one of the most dreaded feelings in the world. Today I went to Macys to take advantage of some sales and the entire rack was left with only xs and size 2. I SCORED!!! Who woulda thought. Life is so good.
  4. I had a "food funeral" prior to surgery. I went to my favorite restaurant and ordered all of my favorite foods. We drank, ate and spent nearly $300 for the 2 of us. It now makes me giggle. I still eat all my favorite foods, just in moderation. I don't indulge on the bread basket unless THATS what I want and I typically just eat a little of everything. I do still run through McDonalds on occasion but instead of the Big Mac and extra large fry I get a kids meal.
  5. Trust me!!! If I can do this ANYONE can. Thanks for the kind words. Xoxo
  6. My only regret is that I didn't do this earlier in my life. Congrats to you!!! It's so worth it.
  7. Forgot to mention Surgery date 12/2012 SW 246 Current 109 39 years old I too have 5 children
  8. My goal weight was 125 and I'm now down to 109. I just have days where I can't tolerate anything and even the smell of food makes me nauseous. The best advice I can give you is to eat breakfast. I try to eat cereal or oatmeal and that seems to help me eat more throughout the day. My doc wants me to eat something every 2 hours. I've not gone that route yet. I would like to get back to 115-120ish. Still wouldn't change a thing.
  9. Oh, and no plastics. Just decent genes I guess.
  10. I'm way smaller than I ever thought I would be. It's crazy but I love it.
  11. Thank you. Here's a few before and after.
  12. I've has no plastics at all. My skin went back although my inner thighs look rough and no does my tunny. I just wear the bathing suit with the cute little shorts. They come up pretty high.
  13. Went to a fancy party with my hubby which I used to hate. I had an awesome time!!!!
  14. For the first time in my adult life I rode every ride and never put on a cover up (which I would have NEVER taken off even to swim) at the WATERPARK. And did I mention I PROUDLY rocked a bikini!!!!??? YES, I did. Surgery date: 12/2012 Start weight: 246 Current: 109
  15. I was sleeved almost exactly one year before you. I am a size 2 and happier than I've ever been. Hang in there. It's so worth it!!!
  16. Thank you! I wish you all the success in the world!!
  17. No, I've not had any yet but I will eventually. Luckily my arms and other areas that show bounced back pretty well but my legs are probably the worst. I also have nothing left as far as breasts so I would like to get implants. Right now I'm still getting used to putting on a size 2. I so love it
