  1. ^^ I would just be careful with the calcium as it hinders absorption of other vitamins. I've always taken mine alone an hour or two apart from my other pills.
  2. I've been taking nexium for 6 years now with no issues. I figure once I'm sleeved I will most likely continue to take it.
  3. Oh weird I can add people with just a username
  4. Love to exercise, take my kids to the beach, wear shorts, swim at any chance I get, get beautiful tattoos, wear high heels, go on vacations and just finally live.
  5. ^^^ really!? Wow some people on here are so rude! So because she wants to have a few drinks she has a huge problem? I'm 21 should I NEVER drink again after I get my sleeve? That is just a ridiculous way of thinking.
  6. Wow it's a good thing I'm doing self pay. Sounds to me like I wouldn't have a chance in hell getting approved after previous eating disorders, drug abuse as well as a 'difficult but still loving' relationship with my parents. Good luck
  7. I always thought it was wide too. Other wise why wouldn't a size 22 (like 22 inches) say 22 w too?
  8. Feel free to add me User name: amitch17
  9. I too will be doing this (hopefull) I am having a scheduled c section on February 26th and going to get the sleeve in June if all goes well and my dr thinks its ok. I hope to continue to breast feed for at least a month or more afterwards.
  10. Hey I'm 21 with two kids (well one is due in febuary). I plan on getting sleeved in June
  11. Get* I think if I had that issue I'd just put it on a credit card. Ya there's interest but going to Mexico is pretty cheap anyways.
  12. Could you get a line of credit instead? They are generally easier to her than a loan.
  13. Ya I've been using it for a year and it was never evn close. I'm pregnant now so I suppose that's why I haven't been loosing much (at 9 months pregnant I don't expect to drop a ton of weight lol). But even when I was only eating 900 call a day (I haven't been sleeved yet) it would say I'd weigh 265 in 5 weeks (I was 285 at the time) and I ate only 900 cals for about 2 1/2 months straight and only got down to 272.
  14. Haven't been sleeved yet but hoping this is still ok when I am as its soo good. I scoop of Protein powder (vanilla tastes best) 3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk 3 or 4 ice cubes Small banana Scoop of yogurt of choice Cup of kale Cup of spinach 1/4 frozen blueberries Something to sweeten if you want i use organic blue agave syrup). May need to add a bit more liquid at times I use Water if it needs more. It makes quite a bit I usually give a cup to both my son and fiancé. I'm sure ill have to make it WAYY smaller once sleeved.
  15. Ooohhh I used to make these when I was on Atkins. Soo good!
  16. Doesn't slim fast have too many carbs and sugar?
  17. Has anyone had this done instead of the sleeve? If so what were the results? Is it working well? Complications? I've been doing a bit of research and am torn between the two.
  18. Can anyone tell me how to stop receiving emails every time someone replies to a post?
  19. My fiancé is supportive. He doesn't care what I look like but he said if it makes me happy he's ok. I just worry he will feel bad because he is somewhat self conscious. I think he is very handsome and I love him just the way he is but he knows he's gained weight. I've asked him if he'd like the sleeve too and he says he doesn't think it's for him. My biggest concern is his feelings. He's such a sweet person.
  20. Wow amazing. Came wait until my time comes!
  21. Lol well some questions are stupid but hers wasnt.
  22. Butterthebean gave the best advice. This is what i do and have been doing my entire pregnancy to keep my weight in check. Measure proper portions and don't go back for more if you're not stuffed. You get used to not eating as much.
