  1. They warned me I would always be cold and boy that is true. I'm always freezing!
  2. I have similar issues. Out of nowhere my stomach starting hurting about two weeks ago. I also had the gnawing huger pain, felt like my stomach was being squeezed extremely tight. It last for a few hours then I was fine the next day. I was gonna let it go but it happen again on Sunday. I called my nurse and she said it might be my gallbladder. I'm at a nuclear medicine office now actually having my gallbladder tested. The front desk receptionist said they get a lot of patients who had weight loss surgery that now have issues with their gallbladder. Good luck to you!
  3. Last Wed was 10 weeks since my surgery. I've lost 48 pounds which is great but now I'm at a stall. Last week was the first week I didn't lose anything. I actually gained a pound. I weighed myself Monday and as of today (Thursday), I'm at the same weight. I'm heading towards two weeks with no weight loss. Did anyone else experience the same thing. How did you start losing again?
  4. I was sleeved on 2/20 and I still can't eat much. And I'm tired of my gummy multi vitamins so I tried a pill today and I wanted to vomit. I eat very little cause the food feels stuck and again, I want to vomit. I try hard to drink my protein drinks but I just can't get them down. What worries me the most is not getting all of my protein in.
  5.    vogue reacted to a post in a topic: How about protein powder in diet sprite?
  6. Wow! So rude from someone who's asking for advice!
  7. Any suggestions on protein drinks? I'm 4 weeks out and I can't stand my protein drinks any longer. I hardly eat a thing so I know I'm not getting in the protein I need. I tried the chocolate Lean Body, some horrible Walgreens brand shake, and fruit punch Isopoure. Is there a drink you like? Did anyone else have trouble getting in their protein?
  8. On Wednesday I'll be three weeks out and it's still hard for me. I try really hard but I can't drink all of my protein shake. I can eat soft foods but most make me want to vomit. I called my nurse yesterday and she said this is normal with the sleeve.
  9. I'm 2 weeks out and for sure hungry. It might be in my head. I'm on stage 3 so I can eat soft foods but I can't get a thing in. A couple of licks of applesauce (yes licks, not bites) and I feel like I'm gonna vomit. I try really hard to drink my protein shake but can't get it down. I'm worried about my health. I'm definitely not getting my needed protein, and I'm lucky if I eat/drink 300 calories a day.
  10. Thank you very much ladies. And I'll try mashed potatoes, haven't had those yet.
  11. I was sleeved on 2/20 and started soft foods this past Saturday (3/2). I was so excited to get away from liquids only. But wow, I can't eat a thing. I feel like I'm going to vomit right away. Even with apple sauce, I can't possibly chew it, i take very small bites (more like licks), and eat slow. But i feel like it's stuck in my throat and I want to throw up. Did anyone else go through this? I'm worried about my health. I do drink my protein shake, but I'm lucky if I get in 350 calories a day.
  12. Thank you! I'm terrified of losing my hair. I'm gonna look for these.
  13. Ok, I think I do need to chew more and slow down between bites. Thank you!
