  1. I too had surgery 1/21. I am able to get gas out but still have heartburn. Intermittent pain. Last night was really bad. I have really bad head hunger and want to eat food. I also keep drinking too fast which is causing pain. And to add insult to injury I haven't lost any weight
  2. I'm 3 days post op. Home and on full liquids now. Made the mistake and tried some Cream of Wheat. Too soon. It's just sitting on my chest. I'm sticking to broth and jello!
  3. I had surgery Monday and the drain was removed this morning. I'm on my way home now.
  4. Kdlrhbic I don't know how to add friends on there from the cell phone.
  5. It was 130.00 and it was done at Dr. Ortiz office. They also have Dental there. My mom needed it and when I booked my surgery the coordinator said they didn't do dental procedures there anymore and referred me elsewhere. Something was fishy about that. But they sent me an email about all their cosmetic procedures and the peel seemed like a good one. I also asked around on here if anyone had done this.
  6. It's a facial treatment that removed dead skin cells so the face is brighter and looks more even if you have any acne spots or discoloration.
  7. I was sleeved Mon 1/21. I have some cramping and when I'm drinking the liquids it feels like its getting stuck in my chest. Other than that I've been ok. No vomiting thankfully just a lil slime this morning.
  8. Well all of my worrying was for nothing. I had my surgery yesterday and so far so good. I'm at Marriot hotel and this place is beautiful. Had my dinner broth with a lil bit of apple juice. I have some gas but nothing too painful. I didn't have a hernia that I was afraid I'd have so that was good. The doctors and nurses at OCC were so friendly and professional. I'm so glad I made this decision.
  9. Thx. As the hours go by I'm feeling better. I'm about to head to the hotel where I'll be able to relax.
  10. Thanks you guys! Surgery went well. I went in at 3:30 but didn't wake up til 10:30. Minimal pain. The stomach hurts like hunger pains. I'm sipping on tea and water. I'm still groggy but that be the pain meds they are still pumping in me.
  11. I made it to Mexico! Did my pre op testing and now am a lil high from the meds that are pumping through me there's 1 person ahead of me then my turn!!! Yay!!!
  12. On my way to OCC. Today is my day!!!
  13. Which type of liquid? I've been doing the shakes.
  14. I am having surgery on Monday 1/21. I've gained the weight back that I lost! I had serious challenges and slipped but tried to eat healthy. I don't know what to do. I called the Nut at OCC and she said just do liquids (this was 2 days ago). She said since my BMI isn't high that I would be ok. The goal is to reduce the fat around my liver. I'm so scared that they won't do the surgery. I need to drop atleast 5 lbs by Monday. What can I do???
  15. It's in the same center. I'll be there for 2 days and the 3rd night I go to the hotel before flying home the 4th day. I'm more nervous about having the peel bcuz I've never had one and u don't want any damage to my face but I've read that they do wonders for the complexion.
  16. Yea when I asked about the peel they said it could be the following day. I'm going to see if I can do B4 the surgery or 2 days after. I'll be there from Mon-Thurs
