  1. I have not had any stalls just some fluctuation in the amount of weight I loose from week to week. As far as exercise goes, I have a job that allows me plenty of exercise on a daily basis.
  2. Exercise: I work at a ranch and walk around 5 miles a day 2 to 3 times a week as well as working on toning exercises when I'm off. Diet: I eat between 800 and 1000 calories a day. Protein, protein, protein! And I'm sure to eat a large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables on a daily basis.
  3. I have lost 74 pounds in three months!(: Sorry for keeping y'all in suspense! Lol
  4. Went in for my 3 month appointment with my surgeon and he told me that he had NEVER had a patient loose as much weight as I have in 3 months! I am just beside myself right now, who would have thought that I'd ever be good at loosing weight?? This surgery was most definitely the best decision I have ever made!(:
  5. Dr. Worley at Methodist Willowbrook in Houston! Amazing surgeon/person!! 2 weeks out and down 37 pounds!
  6. Nope, no thyroid issues. I'm a perfectly healthy 19 year old, I do have factor iv but I don't have a bloodclot.
  7. Maybe, but I've been getting plenty of fluids everyday.
  8. Yes, I had a leak test the day after surgery.
  9. My surgeon was the one who caught it on Tuesday when it went from 120 to 140. But other than this, everything looks great. No pain, no fever, nothing! Even he is baffled, I had an EKG Tuesday that was normal except my heart rate.
  10. Dr. Worley at Methodist Willowbrook is absolutely AMAZING!! I can't say anything bad about him, and awesome bedside manner and very thorough! He leaves no stone unturned!
  11. Anyone else experience a fast heart rate (100 and up) after surgery? I'm close to two weeks out.
  12. What happened to your sister was awful, and for a leak to go unnoticed for that long is rare. But it's a risk you concentrate to when you sign all of the paperwork. Also, your sisters story reiterates the fact that you don't just jump into this blind. It's VERY important to find a surgeon who you trust and who you know will listen to you. I'm 3 days post op with the worlds best surgeon and I'm not worried a bit that something like that will ever go unnoticed.
  13. Well, I'm officially 3 days post op today! Yay! When I first woke up, I just knew that volunteering to ave someone cut out 80% of my stomach was a mistake. But today I have a totally different mindset today! I'm ready to start my new life and get on track!(:
  14. Thank you all, I'll be sure to let y'all know how everything goes as soon as I can! (:
  15. I'll be sleeved tomorrow at 11am and I couldn't be more nervous! I'm not scared to the surgery itself, I'm scared of what I'm going to feel like when I wake up. ): I certainly don't regret my decision, nor am I having second thoughts! I'm just scared of the unknown!
  16. Methodist Willowbrook in Houston with dr. Worley.
  17. I know!! It still hasn't quite sunk in yet, but all I know is that I can't wait!
  18. January 15, can't wait to be over and done with the surgery!!!
  19. Will do! I've got my fingers crossed for a smooth surgery and recovery!
  20. I'm a little before you, I'll be sleeved January 15! (:
  21. Getting on a scale and weighing 300 pounds at 19...
  22. I'll be having mine this Tuesday, FINALLY!! This has been one of the longest most difficult things I've ever done! Best of luck to everyone else getting sleeved in January!
