I am 9 Weeks Post Op, and I am cold. My hands, My feet,My toes, even my nose. I feel chilled to the bone, I sleep on a heating pad, and under an electric blanket, Still Cold.....Anyone else been throught this, if so how long does it last? Why does it happen?

Hello Everyone, I am 8 weeks out. I have lost 38 lbs, and Doctor said today I am doing great. I dont feel as Great as I think i should. I have lots of heart burn, and feel sick to my stomach a lot. Food does not settle well on my stomach. What did y'all eat at 8 weeks?

Have your DR write a letter also, listing any and all health problems you have. Good Luck!

I am a stay~at~home mom, and that to was one of my concerns. However, i am 4 1/2 weeks post op, and HAVE NOT been hurngry. I have to remind myself to drink my protein, I talked to the DR yesterday and he said to expect the NO HUNGRY to last at least 6 months! Good Luck.

i was having back pain under right shoulder blade, and heart burn 2 weeks out and it was my gall bladder they had to remove it too,.....

Gas x Strips, that melt in ur mouth....I did not have a dye test, he checked while still in surgery. I am on all liquides for 5 weeks.....my dr, think if you move to musshy or regular food to soon, you can streatch you tummy so he wants it pretty much healed beore one to things other than liquid....

I have dry Mouth all the time, I was sleeved on Jan 9th... And Still Major Cotton Mouth....

No was not given a prescription to prevent this, this pain is worse than the recovery from the sleeve it's self. Glad to have it removed tomorrow. Thanks for all the input.

Sleeved on Jan 9th, and Gall Bladder will be removed on Feb 1st. Been having major pain in front of chest and back shoulder blades, found out today it is MY Gall Bladder, Has anyone else had this issue????

I am 3 weeks Post Op also, and feel depressed. Have been crying for no reason. Went to the "shrink" she told me is was a normal way to feel, my body and mind have been through a lot of changes very quickly and it will take time to feel myself. Just remember why I had WLS and stay positive, she also incresed my aniti~depresenat for the next month. Good Luck

Heating Pad, Heating Pad, Heating Pad....i have one on my upper back now, and will move it to my tummy I am 2 weeks out and it still helps. Good Luck!

oh NO, I Am 2 weeks out and been very emotional, I was hoping it would be ending soon, but 3 months and still??? I cry at least 3 or 4 times a day. I have not been hungery, it is hard to even get down sips of my shakes, but I am MIssing food, and the Social Aspect of it....Saturday NIght and no beer or food, ugh.....

Yes, Normal, i went through all the What if, Right Until they put me under to do the Surgery. I am 2 weeks Post OP and still going through the emotional part of OMG did I really have WLS??? But I keep telling myself I did this for Me and a Better Healthier Life....and Take things One Day at a Time...Good Luck!

Maybe it is the Alcohol u were drinking just 2 weeks out?

I am a week post op. I am losing weight, not hungry and doing pretty much ok. Still on some pain meds for tummy pain. I should be super happy, but I am not, The main issue I am dealing with is my emotions. I just FEEL SAD, Cry at the drop of a hat, and just get an overwhelming feeling of sad. ??? Anyone else had these feelings, I just feel lost.

5 4 and 171 is NOT fat??? look at a weight chart....

5 days post op and Went the the YMCA Walked on treadmill for 50 mins!!! It was slow pace but i was moving and can not wait to go back tomorrow!!!! I am very sore but walking feels good.
