  5. Today I am 7weeks post op, & my 3rd week working out at the gym (cardio only)....I'm steady building myself up....but only averaging between 350-450 calories burned, just wondering if this is enough or what range should I be in. I usually spend about 45mins to an hour....I've been walking/running the treadmill, a few days I did the elliptical, today was the stair master ;(
  6. Sometime afternoon time it started yesterday & today...is when it starts...it's just a general discomfort.... Lowers left side....feels like its at the bottom area of the stomach....near/behind one if my largest incisions.
  7. Today I am 5 weeks post op. Monday I returned to work...thinking I was pain free. Yesterday was pretty uncomfortable...pain level was low, but bothersome...like I just needed to ly down for a while. I sit at a desk, but I do get up and walk frequently throughout the day. Just wandering when will I be completely healed, pain free and have that feeling of normalcy.
  8. Lewisville, TX here....... Dr. Victor Gonzalez Forest Park Medical Center, sleeved 1/3/13
  9. I just had my one month post op follow up with my dr. He told me to up my protein to 100grams a day. This seems like a like for only 1 month out. last week I just started hitting between 70-80. Anyone else out there one month and hitting 100 grams of protein a day? Just seems like the impossible right now.
  10. I am two weeks today.....my first encounter with a protein shake, within minutes I was running to the toilet. The next 2 or 3 try's got much better. I can now tolerate most all full liquids.
  11. Last week it really hurt when I swallowed too much or too fast...I'm now 12 days post op and I don't feel pain at all. My swallowing almost normal. I too was scared, and thought it was going to LSAT much longer.....but I'm def glad that phase is over #fingers crossed it doesn't come back.
  12. Looks delish.... How many grams of protein is in one patty?
  13. I feel much better than the previous days....each day has gotten better:)).....pain is minimal....usually only need meds at night. Had my first post op vibist with my doc today....he said everything looks great and to keep doing what I'm doing. Managing to get in 45-50oz of Fluid a day.
