Actually after 4 months on this forum, when I posted this it was in hope that Cheri would be one of the responders. I alwAys value her logical, straightforward input. And she is kind, which is helpful to a newbie.- New Sleever with a food Q.

Also, does the drinking before /after rule still apply during full liquid phase?- Portion question
I am one week and 2 days post sleeve. If I didn't physically see the incision marks, I would swear nothing was changed. Yes, my appetite has lessened but I find myself being able to eat more than I should. I can eat about 1/4 c of Greek yogurt or about 1/2 can of ff cream of chicken soup without feeling like I'm full. Is this average? Last night when everyone had pizza I ate abou1/4 of ricotta with 2tbsp of tomato sauce, went down fine no issues, really wanted the pizza though. I can also gulp water down no issue. Should I be worried?- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved
I too am really struggling with head hunger. I now realize how much I let it influence my life prior to surgery. I want everything! Even things I didn't like before I just want to stuff down my throat- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved

5 days post op and down 19 lbs since my surgery! I . Can't. Believe. It. I couldn't drop 19 lbs in a year and I just did it in less thAn a week.. Crazy! I'm battling head hunger, and I think some true physical hunger. Will Prilosec help that?- Is this normal?
Not complaining but I'm 4 days post op and I'm already down 19 lbs! It's freaky! This is the first time In my marriage that I threw one one of my husbands tshirts! Im on clear liquids still but a tad hungry for more. Just miss chewing!- Girdle after surgery?
Yes pressure on the stomach helps. I don't use my spanx bc they are a little too tight but I hold a pillow on my tummy when I get up or have to cough.- surgery date feb 18
How are we doing? I was sleeved on the 18th too and I'm curious to see how everyone else is doing? I'm feeling pretty good. Haven't needed to take my pain meds. Drinking ANYTHING is so hard, I feel like it just sits in my chest. Could be the hernia repair though. Hope everyone is doing ok!- Two days post op...
Someone please reassure me that it's normal to mot keep anything down... Gas hurts a lot, especially when vomiting/ burping at the same time. Even water won't stay down.- Tomorrow is the day! GIVE ME TIPS!
So I will be sleeved tomorrow morning at 8:45. I'm incredibly nervous, surgery is always a bit scary. I just had an emergency c-section where the anesthesiologist really messed up, so I'm a little wary. Can any one give me tips or tricks on how to make these next few days bearable. Just reassure me im doing the right thing. See you on the skinny side!- surgery date feb 18
Monday is the day. I'm getting anxious.... What is everyone bringing to the hospital? How long is the actual procedure?- Stay At Home Mom's- How did you do it?
Thanks gals. Desertmom- look how close you are to goal!! Go YOU!- Stay At Home Mom's- How did you do it?
I am going in next monday for my sleeve. I have a question for all you stay-at-home moms/dads. I am a binge/grazer/boredom eater. Honestly, it was never a problem because I was never home this much. But, after surgery I will STILL be home for the next few years. How did you get past your eating habits? I have a newborn, so he still sleeps a lot, giving me a fair amount of down-time a day. That down time is my danger time when it comes to eating. Im contemplating letting the house get really messy every day to occupy myself...HELP!- Before
Pics of me at my highest weight, around 250. Christmas 2012. Can't wait to see the changes!- surgery date feb 18
Centra state hospital in nj with dr sowemimo. Counting the days!- surgery date feb 18
I am also going in on Feb18th so if you need support we can do this together! It is a huge step, but I'm 27 and 250lbs....and it's just tone to be done being fat once and for All. I have 4 family members that went through this and it was the best decision they made. Everyone is afraid it "won't work for them" but just be sensible and let the sleeve do the rest. If you have any questions let me know. I've been on this forum for 6 months. You can fb me too by searching for Sarah stark. Good luck! Oh and don't sweat the prep diet, I was a food addict, mainly carbs. Once you get past the 3 day hump it's waaaay easier.- FEBRUARY SURGERIES
Woo woo! That's all I think about! Summer is about 5/6 months away and I am planning on loving every minute! I live on the jersey shore and I haven't enjoyed my local beach in at least 7 years... I'm thinking a cute retro one piece or tankini. No more crossover floral suits with attached skirts for me!! - FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved
