  1. Hope your border crossing goes smoothly. And hoping they catch Dorner soon, he's been in areas close to my home. What surgeon are you going to?
  2. Had to copy and paste the pages I wanted to save. Tedious but worth it
  3. Thanks for the link, I saved it as a word document in case that pdf gets removed
  4. From what I've read the majority of people say Isopure is gross. I havent had surgery yet so I have bought some unjury samples (unflavored and the chicken broth) and the syntrax medical unflavored to try after surgery. Once I figure out after surgery what I like I'll purchase a larger amount.
  5. I love dr garcias fb page! he posts some great informative stuff as well as motivational things
  6. Had to push my date back a week it's now on march 11th
  7. Lol I've yet to have an actual dream about the surgery but there have been mornings where I wake up in a sort of panic grabbing my stomach, expecting to be in pain thinking I've had the surgery. It's always a disappointment when I fully wake up and realize I haven't had the surgery yet.
  8. Had to switch mine to march 11th due to conflicting schedules with my support person
  9. I figure I already have stretch marks on my stomach a few extra scars is no biggy to me. Just adds more character in my opinion
  10. Aww I thought you were having surgery the same day as me? Did dates not work for you?
  11. I'm also looking forward cleaning out my closet and to donating all my fat clothes!
  12. I used to put protein powder in a mixer bottle then took a bottle of water and mixed it up when I was ready to drink. Also I would take a little insulated lunch bag and pack fruit, veggies and string cheese

To all my fellow book nerds check out goodreads.com it's a great site to review books and find new reads. it also has an app for android and ape users. also thriftbooks.com has used books for less then 4 and free shipping in the USA
  14. Looks like quite a few of us will be having surgery in the next few months. To keep us motivated, excited and focused on the good lets tell what about the surgery or after surgery we are looking forward to I can think of a few things I'm looking forward to but I'll just share one. I'm looking forward to surgery because even though its surgery it's still a vacation and break from work
  15. Just a few questions, I cant seem to find the answer to online. First is it ok to bring food into Mexico? (such as packaged food, or coffee for my support person) and secondly, I know to bring prescription meds in their labeled bottles but what about Vitamins? should they also be in their original bottles? and lastly, I will be having my surgery at Mi Doctor in Tijuana, will I need to change my US dollars for pesos (for tipping and purchasing things) or are US dollars accepted? Thanks for any answers!
  16. Hey, I have the same date with dr Garcia. See you there!
  17. If y'all get a chance you should site see in Dan Diego. It's beautiful my favorite is the gas lamp quarter and the zoo(although I don't know that I'd brave the zoo after surgery. It has some killer hills. Last time I went I was 40lb lighter and it killed me. I'd definitely suggest renting an ecv
  18. Lol. That's lame, anything to make a dollar off people's weight struggles. Reminds me of all the stupid diets, gadgets or exercises I tried (and wasted money on) to lose weight
  19. I hear you about the money I'm saving everything I've got and my mom is loaning me some money to cover it all. I'm nervous about the passports, I haven't been able to get the photo done let alone get the application turned in. I'm having surgery march 4th, need to get my passport! I have some chicken broth and Protein shake mixed stocked up, I do have a shopping lust put together but going to wait until feb to go shopping for more. I'm super excited and can't wait to have it do and be back home healing and losing it's all I think about. I keep planning things I wanna do once I've lost weight
  20. I'm fairly certain dr Fernando Garcia in TJ is $4700 through march
  21. I haven't started buying things yet but I do have a shopping and packing list written out
  22. I'm a low bmi'er. I stand 5'3 and cw is 193. I am having surgery in march and can't wait! For those who say they are losing weight slowly with the sleeve did you also lose weight slowly when dieting before the sleeve?
