I am so sorry to hear you are having such a hard time.

I has surgery 1/14. My doc just said nothing to eat or drink after midnight. I did just fine. When I got to the hospital I was asked several times from different people when was the last time I ate and I told them 10 pm. They did not ask me what I ate.

I am 7day post ops today. I really did not have any gas pains but I did get nauseous when I drank or ate anything for a few days. Not too hungry but want to eat something really good. My mind is playing tricks on me.

My doc does all surgires on Monday's and u discharge Thursday

I had surgery on Monday and had one today. I left the hospital yesterday and they were ok with me not going yet when I left.

How long did u stay in the hospitable? I was sleeved mon the 14th and came home on the 17th. I can not do the puréed meats .

I had my sleeve done on monday and will leave the hospital tommorrow. I am still in pain and nauseous, but it is getting better.

I am Januray 14th I am super excited. I had a Cardiac consult for clearance and he said my EKG was abnormal and wants me to do a stress test. So i had the initial visit and then he wanted me to do the stress test and THEN come back for a follow up appointment. He said he did not think the EKG was a big thing. I think he wants the visits. I am worried that this might put back my surgery date. I have been a good girl and jumped in and over all the hoops

I have a cold also.... I am glad I got it now and not later. It is one of those colds that I can't get rid of. I follow the forum "E-Waiting Room". It is really making me mentally prepared for post surgery. People are posting up until they are getting their IV and as soon as they are able to post. Some people post a summary of their pre and post op experience in the hospital. I am so worried about post surgery .

I am having my surgery at Wellington Reginal Hospital West Palm Beach, Florida. Dr. Wizman is doing my surgery.

That does sound a bit harder than mine, but at least it is only a few weeks. You should be able to do handle it.

I have to go on a diet two weeks before. Mine will not be too hard. unlimited protein, 2 fruits, 2 veg and 2 starchy carbs. my problem will be no soda!!!!

Three weeks to go.... Iam getting more excited every day. I still can't believe this is really going to happen. How my life is going to change!!!!

This is so cool to have another person to start a new life with!!!!! I am not worried about the surgery it self more worried about the recovery. I saw the surgery on You Tube and was shocked how simple it looked.

I finally have a surgery date. January 14th... Just checking if anyone else has that date also....
