  5. Today is a great day!!!!!! My papers went to the insurance company 7 days ago and today I found out it was APPROVED!
  6. It saddened my heart when I read your post. When I look through the post on this site I can feel such joy and excitement when people post they were approved for their surgery. Continue in your journey to find health and happiness. You will find much support on this site and check for any local WLS support groups. Feel free to email me my email address is on my profile.
  7. I am sorry you feel alone, but you just don't realize you do have support. You just need to utilize this site. Do not postone your surgery. You are 100% right you are doing this for yourself. You will feel so much better once you do this for YOU. You might postpone the surgery and not have the opportunity to have it again. I will keep you in my prayers.

  12. I am just starting my process!!!! I have an appointment with Dr. Wizman in Wellington Florida. Just checking if anyone knows anything about him. My insurance covers 100% if I have my surgery at Wellington Hospital. It sounds like he is the only surgeon for Wellington Hospital.
  13. I am have United Healthcare. I work for UHS. They told me on the phone I am covered for Bariatric Surgery and only gave the requirements of BMI 35 to 39 with two co-morbitities or above 40. I am worried I read all the hell the insurance companies have been putting people.
  14. I was told it looks like it will be January. My insurance has not approved it yet, but the doc thinks it will be.
