6. Hi everyone! As of today I'm down 15 lbs from when I joined the challenge on March 18th. My goal is to lose 40lbs by June 21st. I am now not sure I will make my goal by then but will continue pushing.
7. One month yesterday and feeling great. Hit a stall at week 3 but scale moving is again. Down 24lbs. Photos taken from phone and can't rotate them. Sorry.
8. I got my period the night of surgery with my nuvaring in. I read somewhere on here that it could have been a reaction to the blood thinner injections I received.
9. I was sleeved on the 12th too. Total weight loss 20lbs. 15 lbs since day of surgery. First week was not an easy ride. Got diarrhea as soon as I introduced protein shake. Had to stay off it until I figured out it was the soy milk. Weird! Switched to lactaid skim and I've been fine. I do use the bathroom daily could be the liquids because that wasn't the case before surgery. So far 11 days on liquids, 3 more days before I can graduate to purée. Since I'm feeling better now, I decided to try an eat a hard boiled egg without the yolk. It wasn't as gratifying as I thought it would be and now an hour later I'm feeling a bit nauseous. Took 20 minutes to eat it too. I'm waiting the 3 days I have left to start the puree stage but I'm afraid I won't like anything.
10. I want to join! My goal is to reach 222 by June 21st Starting weight: 279 DOS 3/12/13: 274 CW: 262
11. Congratulations! I'm 6 days post-op and can't even imagine being that size. Inspiring!
12. Yes you can but after surgery I'm allowed only decaf coffee or tea.
13. Sleeved March 12th. Got home last night. Had nausea and threw up my first 1oz of water. Started holding it in around 7pm Wednesday night after the nausea subsided. Now easily taking in 4oz an hour. First two days post op lots of gas and rumbling, bubbling stomach and could feel everything I sipped going down. Much better today. Drank warm decaffeinated tea this morning. I like the warm feeling.
14. I'm going in tomorrow! They first called to tell me to be there at 10 am then they called to ask if I wouldn't mind rescheduling for Wednesday. I said heck no! I had already taken the magnesium citrate! Then they call to say to be there at 7:50 am. Not happy about all the calling especially on the day before surgery. Find it very unprofessional. Just praying the surgeon does her thing and doesn't mess up. Nonetheless, excited despite the bumps on this journey
