  1. You look fantastic, congratulations!
  2. Sorry I didn't notice you were looking for side dishes. What about sliced zucchini with season salt grilled in a small drizzle of olive oil? Add Monterey Jack cheese just thrown on top. My picky hubby and kids love it. I also use that instead of pasta when I make mushroom chicken. The mushroom soup tastes very good on top of the zucchini. I know it sounds weird but it really is delicious, you just need them to give it a try.
  3. My hubby HATES meatloaf. However, I made some turkey meatloaf and just put Lawry's seasoned salt, celery, carrots, and onion- all chopped very thin of course. He loved it. The kids liked it with a little bit of gravy on top. Very moist and tasty.
  4. Honestly, I have three kiddos ages 2,3, and 4 that keep me on my feet all day. But as far as actual exercise- I run 15 minutes every other day on the treadmill. I used to do 30 minutes walking but over time can get the same distance and get my heart rate up when I do 15 on the treadmill at an incline. I don't go to the gym. Not in the budget I am still losing very steadily.
  5. Because we are at a lower starting weight we tend to lose slower. I take in all my water and more- but my main tip is staying away from bread, crackers, pasta, etc. until you meet your goal weight. It hasn't been easy, but I feel I would be heavier right now if I was eating those things. I get in at least 75 grams of protein and between 800 to 1000 calories.
  6. I was a low BMI weighing 206 and 5'1. I had surgery November 27th. I weigh 150 presently. Twenty five pounds away from my goal in 4 and a half short months! So happy!
  7. I'm just under five months out and getting tired of chicken. I was out running errands with my family and ate a fish taco at Carl's Jr. It was so good. I dont eat bread of any kind yet so without the tortilla, it was 170 calories and 12 grams of Protein. For those early out, it could be two meals. I know there are many who are very strict and don're eat fast food ever, but for the rest of us- I recommend it. Just make sure to keep track of your calories.
  8. 4 months, sex on the beach.
  9. Thanks for your replies. Just looking for a liquid treat I can have every once in a while without throwing all my hard work out the window.
  10. I am four months out. No bread, rice, sweets-thus far. My question is do you consider this a bad choice as a once in a while treat? The sugar is not a concern for me as I take in tiny amounts of it. Calories are 110 for the tall and 130 for the grande.
  11. It's perfectly normal to feel that way. Soon you will be glad it's done as you move forward with a healthier happier version of yourself!
  12. Hard to say because we are all shaped differently. I was a size 22/24 at 205 pounds. I am down a total of 50 pounds and my tops are medium or large but my pants are mostly size 16 petite. I have seen ladies that weigh 20 pounds more than me but are in smaller pants than me. I'm 5'1 and weigh 155.
  13. Keep doing the work and you will be happy with the results. Good job and congratulations!
  14. My surgeon only had me do all liquids the day before surgery. Everything was fine. I had a little bit of nausea the day of surgery but that's to be expected for most. Love love love my decision! Congratulations and get ready for a new and amazing life!
  15. You should be proud! Fantastic!
  16. I love to make a very simple turkey meatloaf. I use the Jenny-O and toss a little seasoned salt, chopped celery & a little bit of carrots and onion. It cooks very fast and can be used as several meals. It's much more moist than traditional meatloaf, and much healthier, too. If you have enough calories left in your day, you can top it off with a little gravy. I do that for my hubby, and he hates meatloaf, but loves the turkey meatloaf!
