  1. Awesome -glad all is going well for you! If u ever have any questions feel free to message me. I think a coffee catch up should def be arranged
  2. I was sleeved in November also! On the 6th. Great job on losing 39 kilos! How many more till you within a normal weight range? Things are going great with me - really happy I bit the bullet and decided to do it. I'm down 46kgs and just 3 more to go and I'm done - bought size 10 jeans for the first time ever the other day!! Were you self pay?
  3. I keep under my recommended calorie intake every day (800-1000) so the occassional "treat day" for me actually does metabolism some good! I say enjoy the party and don't stress about it - just jump back on the wagon the next day! Works for me and never stalled! (8 months out).
  4. Doing good! 7 & 1/2 months out and down 45 kilos 5 more till I'm at my goal of a healthy BMI range! All going well except a slightly dodgey gallbladder that may need to be removed
  5. Awesome another Kiwi! You have done so amazingly well! How much did your surgery cost if u dont mind me asking? Do you attend any support groups?
  6. You are so beautiful! What a change!! Keep us updated on your progress!
  7. Exactly the same as before for me except I sober up quicker. (7 1/2 months out). It used to take me ages to finish a drink but from 6ish months out its now the same as pre-op.
  8. Yep mine went away about 20lbs ago!! This was one of my " feeling skinny" criterias!
  9. I've sent you a private message on here
  10. Do u have a before pic? What's your stats? This is prob the best "after" I have seen ... your skin etc looks great - cant see scars either Strength training is so addictive isnt it?
  11. Well done! That's one hot bod!!
  12. Hottie alert! What awesome progress you have made!!! You are so teeny tiny! Are u at your goal yet? Are u doing much gym work?
  13. You look great!! I would def flaunt it if I were you And mum of 3?!!! Thanks for sharing your pics! How far are u from goal? And what is your exercise/toning plan currently?
  14. Agree with above poster different doctors say different things. Mine says soda is fine after 3 months out - and its actually written in my nutrition plan to shake out the fizz if u have problems with the gas. I personally dont feel the need to drink it anymore but I dont see the diet version being a massive problem to be honest. I personally have not cut any food out of my diet - everything in moderation
  15. Smashed out a 3 minute prone hold today! NSV for sure 3 months ago I couldnt prone longer than 30 seconds! Now just got to work on press-ups - still cannot even do one!
  16. Aim for a "normal" BMI to begin with and then adjust your goal to how you look and feel? I dont believe there are limits to the sleeve ... you've just got to work at it, and the harder it will be closer you get to goal At 5"9 I am aiming for 165lbs (first goal) - roughly 15lbs to go! It doesnt matter if it takes me a year to get there, I'm still gonna do it!
  17. I do - but I mainly concentrate on strength training to tighten up - I'm nearly at goal so thats the next step for me! I started strength training at 3 months post-op
  18. Down 95lbs ... 14 more to go!
  19. I did at 6 weeks just take it easy and dont go crazy.
  20. I'm onto the last 15lbs - 7 months out. Weight loss has definately slowed down now (1lb a week). For me tracking on my fitness planner and keeping up with the exercise as well as strength training to build muscle are key. But I'll let you know when I get to goal!
