  1. Be prepared for a rough 1-2 days with VSG (rougher than Caesar) due to the general anesthetic rather than local but the recovery is much quicker!! I had zero pain 4 days post op. Could have done a cartwheel.
  2. I am sooo over the shakes but I am allowed any low cal liquid soup ( strained - no bits). It keeps me sane!! The warmer temp seems to go down better.
  3. I am 7 days post-op and on liquid diet for 3 weeks!
  4. I was only in for one night. Would have missed my baby too much any longer!
  5. I was sleeved on the 6th (one week today) and feeling really good. First day I thought what the hell did I do to myself!!! But every day have felt better and better and the weight is just dropping off. On a clear liquid diet for 3 weeks and can now drink full strength protein shakes. Looking forward to puree stage as I am experiencing some hunger. But tolerating fluids really well.
