Hi Mark, how are you doing? I am hoping you can share your experience with Dr. Capella? I am thinking of having him to a arm lift, thigh lift, and tummy tuck....or is the TT and thigh lift called a LBL? Did you have your procedures done at his clinic or a hospital? Was the facilities clean and modern? Where did you stay to recover? How many nights were you in Tijuana recovering? How was your after surgery care? Did Dr. Capella come see you at the place you recovered? Etc, etc, etc, lol. I'm full of questions, any and all details of your experience is very much appreciated. Thanks so much! Dee

Hi December Sleevers. I am so happy I made the decision to have this surgery! I am down 72 lbs., from 235 to 163. Went from a size 18 to a size 10 and feeling great. I have 13 lbs. till I hit my goal. :-)

I'm 5'6" and just turned 50. Ten years ago I got to my highest weight of 255 lbs so I went on a diet and got down to 190 lbs. I then kept my weight between 190 and 210, but this past year got up to 235. Surgery weight on 12/18/2012 was 235 lbs. Today I weigh 192 lbs, so I've lost 43 lbs. My goal weight on my ticker says 140 lbs. but I have a feeling 155-165 will be my ideal weight. I love my sleeve as it's so much easier for me to lose weight without the constant hunger pains. Another big plus is when out in a restaurant - being only able to eat 1/4 of my meal.

I do! For lunch I like the Lean Cuisine Chicken Spring Rolls, 200 calories for three - very yummy with salsa! :-)

From my understanding the hunger hormone.would not decrease with the Plication because don't take out part of your stomach like they do with the sleeve.
