  1. I think a good rule of thumb is to look at the poster click on their profile.... Then look at their posts. Do they contribute to this site on a semi regular basis? Do they talk about things in their sleeved life other than their experience with their awesome doctor? and hospital? and coordinating company? If not?? Well, you know what they say about a duck
  2. Notice how I cropped out the top of my head so you cant see the bald spots?
  3. I just checked mine it should be here on Friday When did you order yours?
  4. Girl, the first thing you need to do is breathe! And the second thing you need to do is push that water! At least 64 oz a day, of I don't drink my Water I don't lose. 20 to 30 0z a day is not enough.
  5. Whatcha trying to say??? I didn't take like a million pictures at all different twisted angles to get my profile pic!!! Umm.... Ok I did
  6. Hehehe.. 135 is my goal too! It sounds like a theme! I can't remember can you do a sleeve from an RNY?
  7. I think my daughter kind of looks at me in disgust sometimes. It's hard to say but true. I just don't like seeing her put such bad crap like soda in her mouth everyday, I don't buy it of course she's old enough that she saunters over to the store and buys it herself. But when I say something to the affect of it not being a healthy thing to have on a daily basis? She always has a comeback. And it's coming from a girl who prides herself on her "six pack" and muscular arms. So what do I know, right? EDIT: Oh the thyroid? Yes I think so,because its more troublesome if it gets into the chest. Its harder to remove and a bigger surgery. He said they have to split the chest wall! big scar!! Now wonders I ate yesterday he scared the **** outta me!
  8. Oh, that reminds me! I looked at gastric sleeve .com.. And somebody loves to fight there too.
  9. Actually you can give the credit of that to Alex (I saw it last night and was disgusted)
  10. I'd hold off in doing something that drastic. Especially since this is your first stall and you know what you need to start doing again.
  11. I always remember the thread "use your first six months wisely" the actual thread was a mess started by a crazy person. But the sentiment was good!
  12. Glad your back! I'm thinking about running today since I didn't do it yesterday. At around six months I went through the same things with food. Six months seems to be a curse in the sleeve community!
  13. Here's a FAQ I wish it made more sense but yes I think the window for eating should be shorter? But if you are able to put 12 hours before and after I would think that's just has good. http://thefastdiet.co.uk/michael-answers-frequently-asked-questions/
  14. I would imagine his Greek salad is better than panera breads but here's an idea... Here's a different one.. It sounds more homemade.
  15. You do have your glasses on, right? Thanks I can use that after having that doctor tell me I have a sub-sternal thyroid which essentially to me says big goiter 0_o
  16. Haha! Yep that was me chocolate and chips!!
  17. I think in the beginning because its acidic and also because it can dehydrate you. That being said, about 3 or 4 months after surgery I started having some again but I now mix my Beans 1/2 decaf 1/2 regular. Though my doctor said no coffee again...
  18. I would taper down over the next week so you don't get headaches. But yes coffee for most people is off limits after.
