  1. You're rocking it! Ill message you for tips! Or do you have a WLS FB?
  2. Well, I did a ton of research before I had lap band, so I found and wanted them, and that was when I was 19, wasnt banded till I was 23ish. So, Its worth the drive for me. I heard Montgomery is good! I have Dr. Chock. I wanted a woman doctor.
  3. I'm not ready but that's because it's not official! I have my phyc eval and my last pre op required visit. It's been a 90 process before they can submit for my insurance approval! So we will see! I really hope to know within a week or so! But I'm in Washington state!!
  4. I had my band at NWWLS and I'm a revision also. Who was your surgeon? I like mine so I am going back to her! However she can't promise it's a 1 day procedure because if there is too Much scar tissue Etc she won't risk doing it till it heals!
  5. Hey lady! That's where I am having mine. That's where I had my band done, I've been a patient there for approx 4 years! Who's your doc?
  6. I'm from south king county! Around Renton! Where did you have your surgery? How are you doing 8 days out?
  7. In fact it is 3 months, 8 weeks she has lost on average 2.08 lbs a week! That's perfect!!
  8. Think of it this way, yes we love our piercing a but a new life/body is worth the $60 to re pierce if it closes not worth the risk of keeping them in!
  9. I also had a sub dermal anchor in my chest I had to get removed before going under, and that was an implant so.. Ya
  10. When I did my band I had to remove everything. The reason is when you are under and god forbid something happens they need to "shock" you, the metal could be a huge hazard, as you are grounded and it could cause serious burns, etc. even if its not required you should as a big safety precaution! Do some research about wearing metal and going under, taking them out is a small price to pay when you see what could happen!
  11. What is silica?
  12. I have a weight loss FB and she is a friend on mine. I think she is a bander or rny. Still WLS!
  13. As I come closer to my last pre op required appointment which is Thursday, then they will submit approval. I am thinking of more issues, being a revision I am terrified of losing weight and then regaining it just like with the lab band. I do not want put my self and body thru this all to regain the weight back. I know I didn't "fail" with the band, we weren't a good partnership. However, will the sleeve be a better partner long haul? =\
  14. I have bcbs right now. My out of pocket is 5k which isn't something I could come up with right away. How do you get on Medicare?
  15. And it's 10thousand milligrams not micrograms? Ill have to go look!!!
  16. How do you get Medicare? I have the 20% on my insurance coverage too. I'm stressed about the money, how did you got about this?
  17. Hmm, something I need to bring up on Thursday at my appointment. Thanks for the info!
