  1. Right now I am 5'11" and approx 352-360lbs. When talking with my doctor she said don't worry about the number as much as your goal feeling and size, for us taller women with larger bones 150 might look icky. I'm shooting for 199... So I can be in onederland... And see how I feel there!
  2. I'm in the Seattle area too! I go to Northwest Weight Loss Surgery in Everett, Wa! They are absolutely amazing! I had the band about 3 years ago and not to much success, however I went in on Thursday and will be getting revision to sleeve with the same doctor! They have support groups that are amazing and fun! All the patients and staff are very supportive and understanding, my favorite is almost every person that works for them has personally had WLS! So they can relate and it's real. I am very nervous about the revision. I do have to wait 3 months as my insurance has requirements, and one of them is meeting with a nutritionist 4 times in 90 days, and then request approval for the surgery. I am hoping I will be getting the surgery in February!
  3. I met with the doctor yesterday and it sounds like the sleeve is a go! I have to wait 3 months to do the prep for my insurance to be able to pay but then should have surgery in feb. very nervous I will "fail" with this tho.
  4. Hey everyone! I know there are a lot of posts on here but I'm new to this site and I'm still a little lost! I currently have a band, have for approx 3 years, the first year I lost 60 pounds, I've gained all but about 15-20 back. I have had no success for approx 2 years now and it sucks! I'm miserable. I recently got new insurance and it covers wls! I have an appointment on Thursday to talk to my doctor who did my original wls to see what options I have. I've done a lot of research and I'm thinking sleeve would be good as I'm sick of failing with this band! Can anyone who has had both please give some feedback/suggestions!? Did you fail with the band and succeed with sleeve? How much have you lost and in how long? How long were you in the hospital? Recovery? Etc!.... Thanks for everyone's time, I look forward to hearing from you!!
  5. I am new to this don't quite understand how to use it! Lol. Learning.
  6. Hello all! I currently am banded and no success really 3 years out???? I am very frustrated as you can imagine! Can any banded to sleevers give me some advise or did the sleeve work better?! I have an appointment on Thursday to talk to my band doc about doing something different! Thanks!!
