14th for me also

I was sleeved 12/14 and was back in the office today. It went fine and I had no problems. Been of the pain pills since Monday

I actually felt so good I asked my surgeon if he really did take out most of my stomach. I can drunk easily and don't experience any nausea. I may be on of the lucky ones but I think there are a lot of us out there. I heard so many of the horror stories before hand that I just assumed it was the masses.

$10,400 in Vegas with Dr. Umbach just had it completed Friday and going good

My doctor said I can have slick and slide food after surgery with no wait period. If it slide right off a plate I can have it. Anyone else cleared that early on? Makes me nervous because so many are on liquid only at this stage.

Dr. Umbach and his staff were great yesterday. They made me laugh right up to the moment that I went under yesterday. I feel great with the exception of terrible gas pain in my shoulders. My stomach has zero pain!!!

About 12 hrs out and must say at this point I'm feeling much better than I expected. Only felt nauseous twice and it was due to movement. Didnot puke so that's good. I can drink without issue. Have only tried water and isopure so we'll see if my good luck carries into tomorrow with protien shakes

Can't help but wonder aren't we just doctor controlled Anorexic? Been thinking that we will be living on minimal food to produce weight loss? My husband was confused how this is any different then starving myself. Reality I didn't have much of an answer on the differences. Can anyone help me answer that question?

I've been doing red light therapy with a lotion called body beautiful followed by firming oil. Haven't been doing it long but a dark age spot in my face has faded away so at least I know it's doing something. They have it at Planet Beach.

Thank you for your update. I'm on my way to Vegas right now to have mine Friday. Tommorow I go in at 1:00 for what I believe is my information and dietian appointment.

I lost 10 lbs first week of Pre op now have been gaining .2-.4 lbs everyday for four days. Not cheating at all. Sometimes our bodies just don't do what we want them to do. Those little gains remind me of years and years of struggles dieting and makes me want my surgery Friday even more.

I Know the two weeks is for the benefit of reducing my liver so I have been strong and not cheated at all. What I can't figure out is why I've gained .2 lbs exactly everyday for three days in a row. Seems a little odd to me. Hope I start losing after surgery.

Thank you Steelegirl I'm glad it's not a clear liquid for a week. I can handle liquid including creamy soups for two weeks. Can't wait until Friday

I felt like I was obsessed with food on WW. I was always figuring how much I could eat with my points. I want food to be to fuel my body not my life. Hopefully after I get my sleeve that will be the case.

Curiosity I'm traveling to Dr. Umbach so I don't do the dietian till Thursday. What did he say for post op diet ? How many days liquid, mushy and so on? I saw you got cleared for regular food at two weeks.

I'm the 14th also so excited....not only do I get a new tummy but my family is excited to go with me to Vegas to do it

That's good to hear. Pre Op diet is going better lost 9lbs since Friday. I'd be happy if these results stayed for a while

I'm scheduled with Dr Umback on 12/12 only two days later.
