  1. Thanks Ms Skinniness!! That's what I keep hoping! Autumnrose... anyone I've told about the surgery says the same thing, but I just keep thinking in my head... what if?
  2. Awesome!!! Congratulations!!!
  3. I have not been below a size 14 in my adult life. Even when I was playing competitive tennis in High School/ College (before tearing my rotor cuff), I had to work at keeping the weight off. So, my irrational fear of the day? What if I don't actually like how I look if I get below a size 14???
  4. You have made such a huge step in changing your life! I am married now, but I was divorced with two little boys and 260lbs when we met. You have to take the leap and know that not every guy is a fit or will appreciate the difficult journey you've been down. But be honest with them- who you were is a part of you. Match.com is a good stepping stone.
  5. Why are you worried?
  6. I am at 1/4 to half cup of pureed/ soft and don't have many side effects. I do feel the pressure and do get hunger pains. My Dr this morning (Hopkins) said only about half don't lose the hunger, but should be satiated with the current diet plan.
  7. My doc counts the thick soups in my puree stage.... and have you taken Colace? The delay could be from a back up.
  8. Definitely try the propel 0 and G2. Or SmartWater if you do better with plain. All three will help with hydration through electrolytes.
  9. Are you drinking plain water? I have to drink propel 0 or I feel sick. That's how I've gotten my 64 oz a day... 2 weeks post op
  10. I just sent friend requests out... I am lesslexi
  11. I did too! LOL What blender do you have? I purchased a Vitamix pre op and love it!!!!
  12. Definitely love Premiere from Costco the best for prepared and bluebonnet from amazon.com for powder. I have been using a straw since about a week post op- it's much easier for me to get in my fluids. If you're craving chocolate, creamy bites calcium chews are calcium citrate and super yummy. I have been taking them from time to time for a pick me up - even pre-op.
  13. How do you reheat from the freezer? Just thaw and microwave?
  14. I have LOVED Bluebonnet brand. It's organic, whey isolate and yummy. I use it in smoothies and just shaken... no clumps. I add 1 splenda and a half teaspoon vanilla. I even made a banana split protein shake the other night that had 30g protein and super yummy!
  15. I have United Healthcare and did not need the 6 mos diet. I provided everything else requested and was approved on the first submission within 4 days. I am now 2 weeks post op. Good luck and happy to help with how I documented everything.
  16. Hi!!! I am in Baltimore, but at least the same state. I was just sleeved on Nov 20 and would love to buddy up, if you wouldn't mind a third.
  17. Hi! I am new here at 8 days post op. 37 and hoping to link up with a support buddy.
