  1. Im so glad to hear someone likes them. I was looking at the nut content and is not bad for one cupcake and i assumed that would be all one could eat. Have you tried any reheated yet? I was thinking they would be geat to take to work for lunch. Which one is your favorite?

  4. well i think that sounds good...im going to watch calories the most and just keep an eye on carbs...im mainly just going to stay away from whites, sugar, bread etc. I do plan on having wheat crackers though, stone wheat but not alot. im glad to hear that thanks...one girl on here told a peop that she should try and have no carbs...i told her to talk to her nut and not listen to people on hee because i know you have to have some carbs fo energy
  5. HI max! Im Kris and I was just sleeved on the 19th. Im having acid reflux horribly but Im sure it will pass. Ill live with it, this is awesome I have actually no desire to eat. I hope it stays that way where i have to make myself eat. How kool would that be. So welcome to the VST family. Im 10 pounds down in 12 days so i am happy. On our way to being a bunch of losers! lol Cant wait! ~kris
  6. How did the broccolli go down? I am a band revision and I couldnt eat broc with the band.
  7. I was a cash pay band to sleeve revision. Best thing I have ever done. Good luck, look forward to hearing some good news! ~kris
  8. Me to Bella...I have a very voluptious behind...i lose from the waist up always takes forever to come off my bottom half but thats ok, \going to do it this time. This is awesome, i was a 20 year smoker and have not had one craving since the surgery and i havent craved sweets either, I hope that last. Newgrandmother, I saw that you said you got around 100 carbs a day, that might be why your losing a little slower. I know our aim is between 30-40 a day but if you feel good then stick with it. I would rather lose a lil slower and feel good than cut carbs too low and have no energy. I look forward to alot less of us in the next few months. Good luck to the both of you.
  9. Yay for you! Good job on preop weight...be prepared if you get on the scale tomorrow you may have some weight gain, just fluids drops off quickly. I was sleeved on the 19th and i am down 10 since surgery. Had pintos n cheese, frozen yogurt and lemadelines tomato soup today. Plus a protein shake....was a good day. Besides the acid reflux which i know will go away this is the best thing ever...you will see....we are on our way! ~kris
  10. wow...i couldnt even think of anything but clear liquids for almost a week...im 12 days out now and had pintos n cheese and frozen yogurt today for the first time. Sounds like it was just too soon for something so heavy, remember you probably still have some swelling. I felt pretty much the same 4 days out. My nut would had never allowed liquid cheese that early.
  11. Yeah I imagine it's like calcium. If you intake more than 600mg of calcium at a time you pee out the rest so I'm with JaspersGirl on this....I'd split those scoops up. Good Luck getting it down.
  12. I am almost 2 weeks post op and I thank God I have not had a craving for a cig' I smoked for over 20 years and since the surgery I havent wanted one. Even yesterday when my friends kept sneaking out to have one...I felt nothing. Now I know if I do get a craving it is all in my head. I DO NOT EVER want to smoke again. I pray you can overcome the cravings...I know how hard it is sis otherwise I wouldnt had smoked as long as I did. Hang in there...I know you want healthy lungs to go with that new hot body!
  13. i had no problems with the stairs from day one...just take them slow and hold on to the rail...youll be fine. Do however put all you can up there where you can get to it...will just be easier.
  14. Congratulations....you are looking terrific!
  15. I have the same problem....interested in the answer to that myself. Good luck.
  16. I know how easy it is to backslide but dont beat yourself up over it. It is time to get back to basics...you might check with your doctors office , mine offers a Back to Basics course for anyone that is slipping and needs that encouragement. Also, find those support groups, ours here is fantastic. It helps associating with others that understand what your going through. And *you go girl!* Crossfit? That is amazingly difficult I admire you...thats impressive...I plan on starting Krav Maga once I break 200...until then Zumba and walking:) I want to share a little action plan another lady on here posted to shoot for daily: 600-800 calories,64oz of fluid, (have you tried the MIO water enhancers? I love 'em, 40 carbs max (you need those carbs to excercise but try and get most your carbs from fruits and veggies) 60g minimum of protein. Thats a great outline and start keeping your journal/food journal:) I bet you'll be back on track in no time! And next time hubby makes French Dip Sandwiches, just leave off the bread and wrap that yummy roast beef up with chees in a lettuce wrap:) Good Luck my friend!
  17. I did atkins shakes, broths etc...thats what youll be doing when you get out of surgery so good practice...oh b4 surgery i also did sugarfree jello and chocolate pudding....i would had never made it without them.
  18. My nut said it was recommended you never drink sodas....thats suprises me.
  19. Im down 10 pounds post op as well...sounds like we may have been same day or close...i was sleeved on the 19th. I am still on liquids but at a friends house today they had Zatarins Blackened Chicken Alfredo with Penne Pasta. Was around 3 and I hadnt had anything but one shake all day and was hungry. I had like maybe 1/4 a cup without the chicken but chewed it until there was nothing left to swallow so it didnt make me feel full...having soup now been eating on the same bowl for 2 hours. My biggest problem is the heartburn and diahrrhea...hopefully that will go away...sounds like your doing great...good luck!
  20. yes...felt just like that...gets better...make sure your taking your prilosec if they gave you some. Its a wierd feeling isnt it?
  21. Dont be dissapointed in yourself you are doing so well...the pcos and hypo may slow things down but they arent going to keep you from losing. Stay positive girl...youll get there!
  22. I ended up staying an extra day and having a CT scan...I told them to send it to my insurance coded for the reasons i had the test done, will see...if nothinf else I wont have to pay it all off at once like the surgery cost. Ill get on a pay plan if i have to pay for it. Im so happy i had the surgery even with the extra cost. Good luck
  23. congrats to you both...what great starts!
  24. Thanks for sharing and congrats on your weight loss:)
  25. Hey Yall....I have only lost 8 pounds since surgery. I am happy with that I gained 8 after surgery, i also had Shrek hands but they are back to normal. I am having problems with acid reflux.
