  1. Thanks Bryan, I did fear the pre/post op but then I just decide to attack it headon & thus far to my surprise I am doing good with my experiments & options provided by others in the forum. At this point I'm fearless but anxious to just do this!
  2. Geesh...Greek yogurt Yuck! Yoplait, Chaboni & Fage ewwwww! This stuff is hard to get past, sorry but true.
  3. Hey there, I'm November 12 & waiting frantically lol. Wow, I can't imagine waiting 2yrs. I am so anxious. I fast tracked, got all Dr/nut evaluations & release complete in September, file submitted October 1 & when I called to check it had been approved by October 17! Wish it was here already! It was easy for me because I had truly been trying everything therefore the 6 months & nut had been covered. All I needed was approval, ekd, possible blood work, surgery date & pre-op diet...everything should fall into place this week, plus I have started a restrictive diet of my on. This week will be a diet test week that way come time for real deal I will have an idea of likes & dislikes.
  4. Most of the flavors are 0 everything, therefore they will count toward intake.
  5. As I said before, drink h2o, eat right & exercise. Appeal denial. Any comorbidities? Bmi & weight?
  6. Oh oops I bought already made. Still will try it, thanks.
  7. Thanks a lot again. I am sampling & testing various things out this week. You all have given such great options! I wanted to be ready come 11/12/12.
  8. At the risk of sounding dumb... When mixing the Protein with pudding, I'm still using almond milk? This is how I've done it in the past. Or is it just the protein & pudding, protein & yogurt? Lol if it don't taste or fill right I will add silk. Thanks Jazee
  9. Don't be... Eat right, drink plenty of Water & exercise regularly! My plan: obey the do's & don'ts!
  10. I hope not powder pudding...the shake powders are enough but I plain on trying it tomorrow.
  11. Aww, come on now take one for the protein. One day you may learn to love it.
  12. Will be giving the yogurt cocktail a shot too. Thanks!
  13. Hmm @ Crystal light & yogurt....I'm game. It's all about the protein!
  14. Yes ma'am "acquired taste" is correct. Smh @ plain Greek yogurt!
  15. Ok carbmasters, I am looking for high protein options. I plan on eating as much protein as needed then I'll worry about the other.

  17. As of today I have no fears. I am ready for Nov.12, 2012. The rebirth of CJ.
  18. I haven't been sleeved yet but I can speak on surgery. You will be tired for a while because your body is focusing all of its energy on healing itself. So it could take six week or longer before you are back up to speed. Just focus on getting better!
  19. Thanks! I'll try dannon & chaboni next time. By this time next week I will be a pro at liquid & pureed! This will prove to be a interesing 3 weeks.
