  1. Hey buttrfli. Yeah I understand what sum are thinking and saying. But yes we ALL slip. I say...as long as you realize the slip move on and do better girl. You need to get out and do some shopping! Get lots of healthy foods and snacks so u are not tempted to eat bad choices. Get mom and everyone else in board. Tell them to support u and your new diet. Etc etc. your stomach is fine but youll only be succezsfull with it if your successful with your diet and exercise. So get your hinie in gear and back on track. What is your first short term goal? Example- for your first 20lbs loss THEN maybe u can have a small treat. Set small goals. But this soon out u need to be following your doctors orders to a T! Wish u well :-)
  2. Did u say u were fit before surgery?? Dumb question...why did u need vsg if u were fit? Im slow lol please explain :-)

  4. So im SCHEDILED to go back to work Wednesday. But have appt with my doc on monday. So this WILL be discussed. Ill let know how that goes in case someone needs the notes for future reference .
  5. Oh man. Great to hear im not alone. Ive been going thru heck with this. And yep I relate to the not being able to move. Matter of fact only THREE weeks ago. So bad that I got very concerned about returning to work. I have a very physical job at railroad yard throwing heavy railroad switches being one of my duties. So im thinking NO way can I go back to work! (been off SINCE surgery). So I had some muscle relaxers from a previous injury. Since my surg was saying "the pain is muscular" lol I decides to take one....BAD MOVE. Ended up in E.R. So off the M.R. (it DID stop the pain tho) and back came the pain lolbvs. Cant win.
  6. Im almost two months post op but have not yet been cleared for any exercise except light stretching..
  7. I was sleeved Oct 17. So almost 2 months post but I am still having pains! wth??!! Its not constant but enough to start making me concerned. Its a sharp stitch type pain. Usually happens with sudden movements or when I try to lie on my stomach or either side in bed. Couple days ago it was SO sharp I yelled out in pain. It is on left side which I know the whole "most work" story. Ive discussed with my surg and was told I cud have pain up to 3-4 months. But just curious.....am I the ONLY one. Im already a slow loser....now im a slow healer?? smh
  8. Thats all GOOD STUFF ngm!!! Proud of you! Keep up the good work lady :-))
  9. Yes definitely scary. Ended up going to ER Saturday. Was there 8 hours while they did 4 different test. They were originally thinking blood clot from surgery was effecting my heart. But all 4 tests came back fine. So the only thing left was to monitor. They went away and tuesday I had a cocktail if tequila n lime juice and there they (palpitations) were again. Sooo needless to say-no alcohol for me anymore for a long while.
  10. for some reason every time I drink by experience heart palpitations???
