  1. Yeah I agree. Noone shud hsve to suffer if sonething can help. He being an ass about it. But im wondering ic the muscle relaxer idea was even brought up....
  2. Dang. Did u bring up the muscle relaxer idea at all?. Im telling u thats the ONLY thing that gave me relief. Hope you feel better soon
  3. Hey all! Sorry I didnt see this thread sooner. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING you are saying I went thru also with this left side pain issue. At about two month post op I was fed up. Surgeon kept saying it was muscular. So I came up with the CRAZY idea of taking a muscle relaxer. I called and ran the idea by surgeon and he agreed. Soon as I took one-NO PAIN. that was the only thing that helped me with the pain. Doc also wrote me an Rx for some physical therapy to do once pain was manageable. which im doing still-three weeks later. No longer taking the muscle relaxer. And I only took the mr like one every other day and that did the trick.
  4. Oh ok. Yeah it sounds to me like your doing EVRRYTHING right.

  13. Girllll my mom-same thing!!! lolbsmh. Ill be honest I didnt tell her. When she asks why am I not eating or why am I not eating much I just tell her I am on a diet. And leave it at that.
  14. Oh boy. This sucks. Well im no expert but i do know (from experience) that it takes TWO to make a marriage work. But with your new life change id say right now you need to work on YOU. You had this surgery for a reason. You want to be healthty and happy! So maybe start with the healthy and focus on that goal since he is not on board right now. Get yourself right and healthy. To me your health is and should be most important. Maybe hell come around in the meantime. But as my mom used to say "you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink". So you just gotta do you girl.
  15. Oh man, mknmore! Im sorry you are feeling this way. This site is very supportive but to be honest I myself think you need to seek out professional counseling. I mean, this IS your marriage at stake. You both need to sit and really get out in open your issues and maybe you cam work thru them. Soooo many marriages end because of lack of communication. Id hate for that to happen to you. Is counseling an option for you all?
  16. Uh oh lol. Susan has spoken. Im out! Good luck buttrfli and everyone else :-)
  17. No! Because theyd get popped! But its easy to be a jerk online.
  18. Its a way to be supportive without being outright mean and rude. Hey buttrfli...i have some info on foods to eat at different stages and how much.protein is in those foods. You have an email I can send them to u? Its stages 1-4 from my doc. Im surprised your surgeon or nutritionist hasnt given u something similiar...
