  1. And I smoked Malboro menthol 100
  2. Let me tell you my story! Lol I was a 1/2 a pack to a pack a day smoker for the last 15 years. Only time I quit was when I was pregnant. So I have smoked off and on since I was 16. Last stretch was 15 yrs. When I went to the Dr I denied smoking....surprise...blood test. DAMN IT I was caught. They didnt say anything. Next appointment they asked have you smoked. I said no, they said well your last test this and that and you told us no. So today we are going to test you again. I confessed....I smoked (no need for blood draw). They postponed any more dr visits until I was 3 mo nicotine free (WTF). So I had to wait to resume my stuff in Dec. YUP they made me do a blood draw BEFORE I made an appointment. So I think ny Dr is a little strict but boy I quit it that day and have not cheated since Sept 15th.! I want this too bad that was enough incentive for me. Good luck in quitting
  3. I am getting my date today!!!! Scheduling was closed yesterday.Grrrrr Shooting for Feb 14 or 21.
  4. I have that too. I would bleed for months at a time. I tried the Mirena(opposed to surgery)to see if that would help and it has. It has been 3 years that I have had it in (I do not use it all for contraception).
  5. I personally like It clean shaven but manscaped is ok too. But with both having the naughty bits clean shaven gives it more of a heighten pleasure
  6. I just want to have sex (pre surgery) and if means looking at my fat so be it as long as I get mine lol (: I will let you know how it is after
  7. I feel you frustration. I started my wls about 2 yrs ago and I had to be on a 12 mo super ised diet wi t h my primary Dr and then in Aug 2010 I fell and injured my ankle and my WLS group made me postpone going further until I had my ankle under control.I went to Dr's and specialist and walked on it for a year and my ankle was so swollen and sore. So finally 11mo(July 2011) later they decided to scope it and see what was wrong (of course it is always being heavy-duty aggravates it). I had a fracture and 2 bone chips floating and cartliage and ligaments that were damaged beyond repair. So some were taken out and some reconstructed. I do feel a lot better but some days it just hurts. I then started back in Jan 2012 and while my ankle was hurt I did do my 12 mo worth of diet. I did not loose a thing! I did join a gym that had a warm water pool and I started going to water classes anr it helps take the pressure off your injury. Now jumping ahead to Nov 2012, I met all my requirements and clinic submitted it to my insurance and they DENIED it and said it wasn't a covered service (yup had clinic call and verify it was a covered service). WTF!!!! I was beyond livid. I fought with them and threatned to turn them into my states deptartment of insurance. They changd their tune and now its approved and I am just waiting on my surgery date. If I didnt get this done I am 42 and I dont think I would be able to walk in 2 years! I need a double knee replacement! So I suggest you do your 6 mo diet and start on protein drinks now and maybe join a gym near you with a warm water pool and wait ou your 6 mo. YOU CAN DO THIS!!! Stay strong and everyone is here to help and encourage. Best of luck to you
  8. Ok......so after threatning them to Dept of Insurance they have FINALLY put in approval for the sleeve!!!! About time! Now just waiting for a surgery date!!!! So excited **thanks for listening (:**
  9. Yeah I wish I had that option. My complex case manager called me today and said my bypass was covered and I waa ready to go. I said uhhhh no I am not doing that. So I told her how PISSED off I am and that I would take other measures. She asked me what those were and I said I am contacting our state dept of insurance to file a formal complaint against them and if needed I would be hiring a lawyer! She was like...ohhhh dont do that! She said dont do anything until I can talk to my manager. She has until Friday and next Thursday I file the complaint. I REFUSE to take no for an answer. I'm very determined ..especially since it was their mistake. We will see how it goes
  10. Yeah I can but I do not want to go that route. My other primary(rheumatoid and primary) drs told me not to have that done. So my only other choice is lap band. I dont think that gives me enough help. I dont know...I'm so torn. I will be appealing for sure and see where it goes and possibly contacting a lawyer since they previously said It was an approved service.
  11. Doesn't look like I will part of the family ; '( so sad, disappointed, and angry.
  12. Now they are saying its just a covered service. But it was ok before. I don't know what the heck they are doing there. GRRR
  13. Ok.....newest issue! My complex case manager called (she has been very helpful) and said the medical director said the sleeve is not covered!? Wtf is going on?!
  14. That is where I am from originally before I moved! Where at in the process are you?
  15. Was super leary of trying soy milk. So I started with the chocolate....actually really good. Ventured to vanilla. Today I tried Syntrax Sweets Double stuffed cookie. Omg it was good. It was not thick and milky. It was quite tasty.
