  1. Good luck to all the 2/12 sleevers!
  2. No your right that is what its for. But I just thought I would loose more weight with the restrictions of liquid only is all. I weigh daily just to track progress of it. I want to loose a bunch AND have a healthy liver (:
  3. Ok I am angry! Lol I'm on liquid diet for 12 days and I have only lost 13#. I feel like I'm pretty much starving myself so why am I not loosing more weight? I am not cheating AT ALL! I am drinking 5 shakes a day and do that every 3 hrs with snacks of s/f jello, 2 c broth (1 c at a time) and tons of water. What gives? Anyone else slow to loose?
  4. I thought for sure this would be so hard for me, I have no will power. Well I'm on day 10 and I am looking forward to surgery on the 14th! Its not been that hard for me. I think quitting smoking was harder. I have made a few dinners and decided its not in my best interest do that! Its too hard so my loving husband has been cooking for him and the two teenage boys (hes not the best cook but the boys will eat anything ha ha ). So Its worked out well. Work had been harder as they order out EVERY night. So tonight is my last day of work for a total of 32 days!!! Yay. I have 2 wereks off FMLA and then a week vacation (scheduled last year) and they just coincided together (: And I only work 14 days a month so that's why I got so much time off
  5. I bought a big tub of it!!! And its nasty Guess I will have to come up with some ideas how to sneak it in somewhere lol
  6. Good luck (: hoping you a speedy recovery
  7. Sorry for adding the picture 3 times ha
  8. So I am 7 days til surgery and thought.... mmm maybe I will puree some pot roast I made my family. Sounds like a good idea? Got my wizard out and put 2 oz carrots, 2 oz potatoe, 4 oz meat, and 1/8 c broth. It went well... (can't taste it as I'm on liquid pre op) Anyway it looked good BEFORE I dropped the ice tray full of my tasty baby food looking pot roast on the floor and it soon became dog food! LOL will try again with another meal (: #determined
  9. Lol I want a small meal lol So I guess I don't have it so bad lmao
  10. What has your Dr advised for your liquid diet? I'm on day 8 (surgery is 14th) and I am doing awesome! Here is my diet: 5 cups 1% milk (1 c at a time 5 times a day equals to drinking that every 3 hours) with 5 packages carnation instant breakfast I can also have 2 c broth 1/2 c tomato juice or v8 S/f jello (I made jigglers to trick my mind that I am eating) S/f popsicles Diet v8 splash All the crystal lite as like things I want. I drink 80 oz of fluid on top of the 5 c of milk a day. And I have not cheated 1 bit. I think my success has been NOT cooking for my family (my husband has been doing this) and staying in the house as much as possible cleaning and preparing. Drive thrus are calling my name when I go by. I also have been lucky not to experience any mood swings or headaches except one day I didnt drink enough fluids. I think they key os stay hydrated. This has worked for me. I wish you the best
  11. Good luck to those having surgery today!!
  12. I stayed on carnation today.... no cravings at all! I think it was the slimfast
