  1. Mine is the same as yours today. After dinner we are going on a family walk. I found a great breezy, quiet spot and right when the dusk is upon us and it's getting cooler outside is my favorite time. Hopefully it will cheer me up! Hope you find peace within yourself as well.
  2. I'm with you! I have 6 more pounds until I'm not "morbidly obese" anymore. I'm also in a size 14. I feel fat but not obese, come on!
  3. Well it's good to know it's normal! Haha! I have 5-6 pounds until I'm out of the obese category (I'm tall). So I think you're right, God has an interesting sense of humor!
  4. For the past 4 or 5 weeks I've been going up and down the same 3 pounds! One day I'll be 204 and the next I'll be 207! I weigh at the same time every morning when I wake up. Do you think there could be something medically wrong? I have kicked up my workouts with lots of strength training this month. I have a calorie deficit of 1000-1200 everyday. I hope it's just something as simple as water retention.
  5. I understand about hormones! I had the sleeve 2 months after having a baby. I'd go from screaming to crying in about 2.7 seconds! As far as the forum goes, try not to let it get to you. Like everyone has said, it's their issue not yours. If being nasty makes them feel better, fine, just scroll on by and don't feed into it!
  6. Yea.. what Gman said .....that's what I meant!
  7. Confidence is very attractive! Fake it 'til you make it!
  8. Good luck ladies!!! I will be thinking of y'all tomorrow! Everything you're going through and will go through will be so worth it! In a few months you will feel somewhat normal and have the rest of your life to live healthy! How freakin exciting is that?!?!
  9. Oh and my pre op diet started on Halloween. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal but I have 2 small children who got lots of candy!!!! Haha! Man am I glad those days are over!
  10. I was sleeved a couple weeks before Thanksgiving. Boy, the holidays were rough! I just tried to stay focused on why I was doing all of this!
  11. I was only in pain for about 24 hours but sore for about 4 days. I had a hard time with the sleeve though.
  12. I just had mine out last month, 8 months post sleeve. It was done laproscopically and recovery was a breeze!
  13. I'm on my second month long stall right now. In 9 months I've lost 90 pounds. I knew once I was close to being under 200 pounds my weight would stall. Sure enough, I've been stuck at 205 since the last week of June! 90 pounds is a lot of freakin weight though. I'm very happy! I'm content knowing I'll never be 100 pounds overweight again!
  14. I don't have any issues with fries but battered anything makes me so sick still at 9 months out!
  15. I need some friends who eat more than 800 calories a day! I work out everyday and try to stay above 1200 calories a day. Some days it's hard, others it's too easy! Wanna be my friend? Add me! Nicolanz27
  16. Girl, get out there and get yo some clothes!! I just got 3 shirts and two pairs of pants for $25 at Goodwill. Show iff your success!
  17. I also want to add that me and my two brothers who are also obese graduated from Cy-Springs, a highschool in Cypress Texas and were never bullied.
