He is booked up till then. I don't have to start my pre op until the 18th so I can actually get myself mentally ready. I started a "to do" list last night and there is enough to keep me busy. I could not sleep at all last night!

I am getting sleeved on 2/25 and the doctor is removing my gall bladder at the same time. It's very common and best to do them at once.

2/25!!! Day after my birthday!!!

Well....seen Irani today and my surgery is Monday the 25th!!! I only have to do one week liquid per op diet. Can't believe I now have a date. And it's the day after my birthday! What an awesome birthday gift....healthier future!!!!

I just can't wait!!! We will keep in touch!

Really.... Now I'm really curious. I almost had him do the lap band December 2011...had my surgery date and everything but insurance problems. I'm glad now and see it was a blessing. I went back to Kaiser and learned so much more.

If I would read all the posts I would see you have Irani as well! LOL!

Too funny!!! I was the biggest loser. How I did it, i don't know. Get in touch with me. Let me know who your doc is.

I started the Kaiser program Oct. 2nd and last class was Dec. 18th. It's a 12 week program. It seemed like it was going to be forever but actually went by fast. I can't wait to go Thursday to see when I get my surgery. So excited!!!!!

My consult is with Irani on the 7th this week. I have already received my referral so now wondering how soon my surgery will be scheduled

I'm sending prayers your way. I can't imagine what you must be going through. I have my surgery consult this Thursday and even though it scares me to death after reading about your experience I know I will make it through...just as you will. Stay strong and remember why you are doing this in the first place.
