  3. Good luck! Please post when you can and let us know how you are doing. My surgery is this Friday. I am nervous but ready.
  4. Good luck! I was always told that I have "BIG BONES". HA ! I have told a few co-workers too. I didn't want to hear " is that all you are eating today". I would rather they know so they can go on with their jobs instead of focusing on what I am eating. I am on day 3of my liquid diet and it is going ok. I just keep reminding myself to focus on my goal here. I told my husband that I would probably not want to have jello after this is all done. Lol!!! I am counting down my days until my surgery. Surgery date is Nov. 16th. Again, good luck

  6. Hi everyone! My name is Robin. I am 44 years old. I have decided to do something for myself for once. I have decided to have gastric sleeve surgery. My first doctor's visit was on Sept. 18th 2012 with Dr. Jay Snow out of St. Louis Missouri. My insurance company just approved my surgery and it is set for the 16th of Nov. I am currently on my pre-op liquid diet, day 2. I am doing ok but would like to eat something with some consistency. I can have nothing but clear liquids. I am trying not to complain too much because this is my choice. I am determined to get this done and start living a new healthy life. Right now, I am excited, scared, and nervous but I think that these are normal feelings. I will post more after surgery. Good luck to the other newbie's out there.
