  1. I know what you mean!!! I had horrible CO2 pain afterwards. I can't describe how awful it was. Then my parents drove me 5 hours back home so they could take care of me. I live in Louisiana but I'm from Texas. It was torture!!! I had a friend that had it done and she had zero pain. It was a rude awakening when I woke up in recovery. I remember flailing around the pain was so bad. No regrets, but I wish I would've known about that ahead of time!
  2. Hello fellow sleevers! I just wanted to see how yall are coming along. What are you eating? How about exercise? I'm down 25lbs and I've just started weights and a yoga ball (which is harder than it looks, lol)
  3. I'm one month out. I know exactly what you mean about the fantasies! I definitely struggled at that time but it went away. I had one rough week but that was all. I too struggled, and still do, with keeping track of everything. I got a little upset because I'm in a stall....which most of us will all go through during the early days. Oh, and this may not help, but I would take bites of things I wanted but then spit it out. It really did help me. I was able to get the taste I'm my mouth which was really all I wanted. I wish you the best. I hate that you dealing with the negatives....but it will get better! Especially when you step on the scale
  4. Watch out for the CO2 pain. Mine was almost unbearable. Just walk as much as you canif you get that pain. You are making a great choice! I wish you all the best!!!!
  5. Hello all! I posted this in the Recipe Sharing but meant to post it here. I've tried every kind of Protein Shake and I cannot seem to find one that doesn't taste like a multivitamin! The flavors may taste good but the yucky bite is still there. Has anyone tried the Shakeology drinks? My friend sells them but I wanted to get some more information and opinions first. What do yall think? Its getting very frustrating for me. I know I'm not getting all my Protein in. Thanks!
  6. Hello all! I've tried every brand and flavor of Protein drinks and I cannot find one that doesn't taste like a Multivitamin...yuck!
  7. Surgery 9-17-12 Starting weight 242 As of today 222 Total loss of 20 lbs! I've been in a stall but hopefully I can get a jump start by working out.
  8. I live in Slidell and had mine done by Dr. Rachel Moore at Surgical Specialists of Louisiana. I can't believe no one else has used them! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She even signed for me to be off of work for 4 weeks because I work in a plant and was worried about not being able to get enough fluids in. Southern Surgical Hospital in Slidell was so nice and the staff were extremely friendly. My mother lives in Houston and is going to have it done here. My family was amazed at how wonderful evening was. I had my Sleeve on September 17th and I am 25 lbs down
