Fmla has very specific rules and all companies are NOT required to offer it - further Fmla doesn't address pay - just keeping your job while you take the time off - dol (department of labor) regs are very specific. Just don't assume everyone is entitled to Fmla.

I’m going to make a suggestion - spend a week there - but go to one of the other islands too - it’s such a long trip from anywhere mainland it’s a shame to miss out on the other paradises there - I personally LOVE Maui and we spent 14 days there - and still discovered something new each day. Honolulu is very big city commercial - and while it’s still beautiful Hawaii - its not as beautiful as the other islands...Mahalo my friend.

I’m posting so I can follow - I had a merina installed 3 yrs ago - LOVE the lesser periods (I still get a VERY light period) but I KNOW I was much lighter before I had it put in. It’s not supposed to cause weight gain.

I can make anyone look amazing - you just had the wrong photographer - your looking for candids to document a series - pick a color - whatever color - and stick to that for the duration - some colors even look better/worse on - Baby Blue and Grey (2 VERY popular colors) DO NOT photograph well - and yet people wear that allot - Stick with your favorite color - mark a spot on the wall or floor - make sure you take the shot from the exact same position and voila - same angle too - because raising or lowering your camera can change how you look - fun project -

She did them in fitting rooms - she’s a student and the pictures were pretty basic I’m a photographer and there is more than one way to skin a cat - you can tripod your camera and put it on a timer - or get a cordless remote (i use those for the real little kids when I’m on the floor all the time) I plan to journal once a week - I probably should start soon as I’m on my 6 month mandatory diet thingy and have lost 10 already... good luck to everyone.

IF - and that’s a BIG IF I got to see the Surgeon in January - got all my pre-req appointments done - did my final surgeon visit AND got a surgery date March-ish that would sorta be a miracle ... Thank you. BCBS is 100% day one - it’s the group that we are with who is requiring the 6mo of dr/nut visits... Feel like I’m trying to be my own advocate and make sure I’m ahead of any possible delays - The surgeon will not see me or make an appt until the group puts through an approval - really 30 days shouldn’t be that much of a difference - but next year we have school/family obligations and I’d realllllly like to be sleeved march or april - I’m pushing it - i know.

We have BCBS - I am 100% ZERO deductable My group provider requires 6mo of Dr. visits and Nut meetings. I wont even be able to see my surgeon for the first appt until I meet this pre-requirement. Does anyone know if that is 6 mo (like days) or 6 visits over 6 mo - I had my first appt on 8/15 - so will I be able to start this party on January 15th or February 15th... I know that seems like a silly question - but I’d REALLY like to get this party started...kwim?
