  1. you might want to call your surgeon's office. they had me stop all vitamins because of the anesthesia.
  2. Its okay to fall off the wagon... just get right back on. With all the Halloween Candy around my house its hard. Just know that the pre-op diet won't last forever! I have full liquids until the 10th. On the 11th I have only clear liquids and then surgery on the 12th. It will get better once your body gets used to no solid foods. My headache was gone by day 3. Hopefully it won't come back!
  3. really? Time for me to head to GNC after work today because I have only found one I like so far!
  4. Mine 11 year old told me I could have his twizzlers and reese cups! I about died because I just started day 3 of my liquid diet because my surgery is November 12th. We can do this!
  5. I have a quick question, how many carbs are you allowed pre-op and post-op. I started my two week diet on Tuesday and I am afraid I am taking in too many carbs when I add the protein shake to lite soy milk. Does anyone know the number of carbs you are allowed each day? I am scared I am screwing up already!
  6. I also started my pre-op diet today with the same surgery date as you (November 12th). My diet is different though, I am only allowed protein shakes with a veggie or a fruit. Nothing else. Hopefully the two weeks will go by fast!

  14. Well the Muscle Milk Lights are only 110 calories and the 4 pack is only 5.38 at wal-mart. Fairly cheap considering the other ones I have seen. Thanks for the replies!
  15. is Muscle Milk okay for the pre-op and post-op diets? I start my pre-op diet on October 30th and I was curious to see if these are okay?
  16. My is hopefully going to be November 12th, as long as the insurance approves it. My doctor's office is very optimistic about the insurance company approving it.
  17. Hello, My name is Bonnie. I live in Virginia. I just received my tentative surgery date of November 12th. I am nervous and excited at the same time. I have been overweight my whole life and I am hoping this will be the start of a new life for me. Any ideas and helpful hints will be greatful!
