  3. i would be giving ur bills to someone and having them pay they should have informed you some how that it wasnt approved how horrible. i hope it gets better sweetie!

  5. I did do 6 month supervised diet with a dietitian and dr ive gone from .306-278abouts so i did change lot of how i ate, but I was just curious if i should maybe start adding some protein shakes to diet to see if i can lose any more lbs before surgery.

  7. I dont have to follow a pre op diet for my surgeon. Except for 24 hrs of clear liquids before surgery, was wondering what you guys think of me doing it anyways? If so what should I do just a basic form of a pre op diet? What does one consist of?

  15. Do you still have ur gallbladder? What I thought was heartburn was gallbladder attacks waking me up at night and the dr was treating me for heart burn. Until I had an upper gi and ultrasound done of my gallbladder and saw gall stones. Make sure you keep taking the prilosec everyday, and try the chewables as well!
  16. OCT 22nd. cant get here fast enought lol its 2 wks away. anyone have pre-op testing that last all day long? I have to be there around 7am and it will last til about 3pm. They will do an EKG and blood work and I will meet with my dietitan and my dr. and suregon one more time before surgery which is scheduled for Nov 14th. Ive been looking up protien and Im not sure what I should be getting I hope at Pre-op they give me some insight on this. Im afraid I wont like what I end up getting. I just cant wait to actually get all of my information finally. its been since Aug 14th that Ive been at the office. Aug 14th is when my 6 months of supervised diet and exercise ended. I know Nov 14 will be here before we know it.

  21. Little bit of both Id imagine, mine isnt for amonth yet, but i feel already nervous excited and scared of all the things I dont know what to expect until Ive live through it. Good luck you will be fine!
  22. no its not painful they will have u drink some crystle that will help blow up ur tummy and whatever else they need to get a picture of and then you will need to some barium which is pretty chalky tasting and feels really heavy when they hand it to you. the tech. will tell you to take a few gulps and keep it down while they take pictures. its painless but nasty to drink and i have bad gag reflexes so its hard to keep the barium down. u will be fine ive had at least 2-3 done in the past 2-3 years.
