  1. I was sleeved February 18th, my heaviest weigh on Sept 20 was 254 lbs.... I was 212 on the surgical table!!!! Now I am at 155lbs, 5 months post op almost, on July 18 anyways. Loving my nee body. I am much more confident. I still do not see myself the way others do, hopefully my mind will catch up with my real size, still feel fat most of the time.
  2. I had sx on feb 18th, I am down 9 lbs so far... Lots of pain in my right abd where a drain was placed, I can still only tolerate sips of chicken broth and water... Other things like popsicles, protein water, and sf jello, etc give me horrible pain and bubbling feeling... I go see dr on thursday, cant wait!! Need to make sure all is normal... I know everything can only get better, I do not regret my decision at all!! Pease love and to god be all the glory!
  3. Yea I havnt slept well in the hospital, i go home today around 3pm, cant wait to get in my own bed, at least I hope.... I need some good sleep. How are you doing with protein water
  4. Yay! I had my surgery on monday February 18th, my starting over point!!! My starting weight was 254lbs on Sept 20th, 2012.... Before starting the 2 week Pre op diet I weighed in at 223.... Surgery date of February 18, I weighed in at 212!!!!! Prob have put on a few since surgery due to all the fluids n such, I feel very tight and swollen in my hands and feet. I am laying in my hospital bed sipping on protein water, I do have cramps with each swallow I take. Have any questions just ask.... Will check my weight next week and publish then. Cant wait to start experimenting with food, I love The World According to Eggfaces' blog, I think many of you will too. She has a great variety of recipes, I don't like to get bored.. Let me know if you know of any other helpful blogs! <3 CCL
  5. Sorry I hit send way too soon! I sceduled it out for February 18th, VSG!! I will have an upper GI on Feb 4th.... Save up PTO!! Lol, I cant wait...want to try and lose 20-30lbs prior, I weigh 250lbs currently.
  6. Yay today, i heard from my dr office!!!! I have been approved, wholly cow im so excited!!
