  1. What is triple zero yogurt?
  2. Our deductible is $5,500 plus per person $12,000 per year for hubby and myself. He broke his foot a few years ago and I wrote $6-8,000 checks to hospital yippy skippy. Appreciated your info the self pay where I'm going is minimum $12,000 Does anyone have a cost on the liquid pain meds and shots you have to give yourself for the first week, it's a blood thinner I think- thanks?
  3. Thinking of you-positive thoughts your way!
  4. I'm nervous too, just talked to shrink and he was so right worry only about today! I'm a worry insomniac not a great combo. You all are on the right track.
  5. Please let us know now it goes, I'm a month away.
  6. I'm sixty but feel apart of your group. Would love a wls buddy! Surgery in August
  7. Good luck for a fast recovery!
  8. I have bcbs of Nebraska but am retired in Missouri. I met with a couple wls centers and was told bcbs of ne was the worst the offices they ever worked with so I expected several denials before I got a yes. I had 6 months of dr visits, psych, dietitian, will have egd on August 6 surgery on August 9th. My doctor wrote extensive co-mobility reasons on every one of the six months visits as I was 35-40 bmi and I was improved within 2 weeks their normal timeframes. I am actually quite shocked it was approved as I spoke with 4+ bcbs reps and got different answers each time until I talked to someone that brought up the actual policy. Just take it a day at a time, the ups and downs were many and now that I'm approved I have told only a couple of people. Nervous but excited. Good luck!
  9. Looking for an August or near sleeve buddy. I have tried several times to post and it would not let me.
  10. I could also use a buddy! My egd is August 6 and sleeve August 19. I'm no spring chicken (60) but admire those of you who are changing your life at an earlier age! I'm excited and nervous. Since it took since January to get insurance approval some of my family have known I was considering surgery but few know I have a date set. I have support from my husband but like most of you, our families are worried about our health and/or have their own agendas.
  11. I had to do the same so we postponed the egd until insurance gave approval. I'm having it August 6 and surgery August 19. So wait and have it apply to your deductible.
  12. Take him to one of the seminars the Drs ant wls centers put on. I am scheduled for next month and my husband is concerned but supportive so far. I had to do six months to qualify for any insurance so it has not been quick at all.
  13. Hi Huskers, I will be a self pay and am considering Mexico at some point. Has anyone had surgery elsewhere and got fills in NE? PS. If you wish to share what you paid locally I would appreciate any and all information. Thanks LMM:help:
