To those who have been sleeved by Dr. Lopez... How many surgeries does he do per day? This is a question I've asked my coordinator, but I want to hear it from recent patients too. Jerusalem is a clinic in a strip mall. I have a high BMI which increases the risk so I felt more comfortable with a hospital. Also, Dr. Almanza st Jerusalem does the lowest BMI 1st so you may be towards the end of the line. There has been some recent controversy as to how many surgeries he does a day. Reports of 8+ have been made. I do not know from experience. Good luck and whichever direction you go I wish you a safe and successful surgery/recovery.
