  1. I'm not tryin to freak you out but that doesn't sound normal to me , what color is the blood ? If its bright red I would go the ER and be evaluated , I was told it was normal the first couple of days but I would not think it is now , and if you are throwing up that's another sign something could be wrong , does your surgeon have someone on call you can ask ? If it were me I would go get checked out . Hope all is well .. Let is know ..
  2. Rapid heart rate , fever , chills , pain in the abdomen that worsens rather than improves , shortness of breath I'd say that anything that seems off needs to be checked out , best to air on the side of caution at this point
  3. Does anyone else feel like a nutcase worrying about leaks ? I don't dwell on it by any means but it's a pretty scary fear that's out there . I know i will listen carefully to my body and get anything out of the ordinary checked out ASAP . I just can't wait to get to a point where the chances decrease a lot ! best of luck to everyone

  5. Ya , that acid will leave a nasty coating on your tongue .. Pretty yucky, mine has been really gross since the surgery
  6. Acid reflux , I have that fuzzy white tongue every morning
  7. It can also be acid reflux causing it , If you can scrape it off with toothbrush it's Gerd tongue if it stays it is probably thrush
  8. My face , boobs , and apparently fingers , my wedding ring is way to big . I am 12 days post op

  11. I'm not really on a schedule since I am liquids and or above mentioned items , it just seems like i am eating 2-5 oz every 2-3 hours and am hungry a lot , don't want to stretch my sleeve and get a leak . No pain eating or difficulty
  12. Soups , pudding , yogurt , and protien shakes are all allowed on my diet the first two weeks
  13. What your typical intake for the day ? I was sleeved 10-9 and it seems to me like i am able to eat quit a bit ... Being paranoid
  14. First off only you can make that choice but I was about like you 215 BMI 36 diabetes 2 and hypertension . I was sleeved 10-9 and I weigh 200 pounds today . I'm not going to lie the 3 days in the hosp were hell nausea and spasms when you swallow the first few times but now I feel great already . My bp is awesome my bs is awesome and I feel like i have been given a second chance at life . I have a 3 year old and I was really scared too , but I thought that I should do it bc i would have died too young with my weight and co morbities at such a young age .
