Call around every post office is different...another post office may get u in quick. And expediting gets it here rather quickly. And also our courthouse now does passport applications. Go to the passport website and find out where other locations are. They are cracking down on the passports now....

Dr. Alejandro Lopez works out if Guadalajara. He works with another surgeon and does the surgery as a team. Two doc's for the price of one. His price is 4650 to 5000. Research I don't believe I have heard to any bad reviews on him. He is the surgeon I was originally gonna use. However am now in the process with insurance. My husbands insurance now pays for it 100% I we use a center of excellence. BUT....I would go to Mexico without any problem if it falls through with insurance.....also just a Lil more info Dr Lopez also works out of Puerto Vallarta, and Tijuana.

Totally out of pocket....my insurance will not pay for the surgery, unfortunately. But I am confident in my choice and am just ready to get it done and begin the journey.

Thinking about it for a year, decide I couldn't wait any longer in August. Paid my deposit in September and been just waiting since!!! So excited!!!!

Omg!!! It's only 50 days until my surgery in Puerto Vallarta, MX. It seems like forever, yet so close!!! I am so excited, yet crazy anxious....trying to start getting myself together. I have stopped drinking dr. Pepper as of last week. Dealing with sugar and caffeine withdrawal , but glad to be doing it to be able to have surgery. I just wanna do this right this time. I wanna lose it and keep it off. I know it won't be easy, but I am so ready for it.

Bless your heart Hun, no matter how old we are when we lose one if our dear loved ones we feel at a loss. You like so many of us used to would have stuffed down those emotions with the food. However, now you can't so you have to find some other way to deal. Talk to your husband. Post as much on here as you need to. PM me. We all as a community will help anyway we can. Have you thought of going self pay in Mexico? I don't qualify with my insurance company, but I don't see putting the stress of gaining the extra wgt on my body or my mind. I mean how damning is that for them to tell you. Hey go out gain the 20lbs then come back!!! Insurance in the US sucks!!! This should be done as a preventive measure before we get so fat we can't move!!! Sorry for the rant...this aspect of our waltz are system just pisses me off. Anyway I decided to go to Mexico to have it done. Much more affordable than it is in the US.

That is awesome!!! Congratulations I know you have to ecstatic. I can't even imagine right now. It still all seems so unreal. I have this horrible fear I will go through the surgery and fail. Not lose the wgt!!!! Omg I dunno what I would do. That would make me crazy!!!! Lol. Anyway you are doing amazing. Keep it up. You are an inspiration to me.
