Your so lucky, my side I can deal w/ but the feeling going down I could go w/ out - yesterday I was a few oz away from getting in my 64 oz of water so I'm doin better w/ that... Ik or @ least I pray it will get better w/ that feeling - I wanna it to feel like it did before I was sleeved... Thanks for the encouragement Sent from my iPhone using VST- Food Troubles
Hey, I'm drinking ok most if the time but seems like everything I eat gets this stuck feeling for a few seconds & then goes away - I want that feeling gone - I want it to feel like I did before I got sleeved... Other then that my left side still hurts but those are my only 2 issues... Glad you are eating well... Sent from my iPhone using VST- Post Op September Sleevers, Roll Call
Yes I'm have'n those days as well - I'm having this stuck feeling when I ate & I don't like that - I want that gone ASAP... I did 1/2 a banana earlier & put a little peanut butter on it - but every thing I eat sits there a 2nd & then goes down & I hate that feeling... Ugh I think I could have stuck to 1200 calories & exercised & loss slowly but surely but who knows what's done is done & ig if my side still didnt hurt & we didn't have to eat & drink @ a snails pace it would be easier... Adaption to this is a lil difficult & whoever said this is the easy route I would tell them depending on your experience its not.. Sent from my iPhone using VST- Food Troubles
Hello I was sleeved on 9/12 as well & have any of you had an issue w/ feeling the food go down or does it feel normal like it did before you had he surgery... I started soft foods today & well I'm having a lil trouble Sent from my iPhone using VST- Post Op September Sleevers, Roll Call
I'd like to ask everyone a question here - has anyone regretted their decision of the sleeve since surgery???? Sent from my iPhone using VST- Post Op September Sleevers, Roll Call

Yes let me know - but I made tuna fish for lunch & maybe that was too much too soon - didnt throw up but it wasn't good like it usually is to me & I'm use to eat'n it on bread & etc... Will just start lighter - might have fish for dinner... Sent from my iPhone using VST- Post Op September Sleevers, Roll Call
Well just not to along ago got back from 1st follow up appt... Have only lost 3lbs since surgery which now puts me @ 218 - boy will I be glad when I am under 200, but the nurse encouraged me that it's ok b/c just last Wed & Thurs be'n back in the hospital & having 3 bags of IV fluids pumped in me I have a lot of Fluid still sit'n in me... I asked all the questions I could think of & I feel a lot better but side still hurts which she said is normal & that each day to keep walking & it will get better... I am a little tired today which she also said is normal & can last a few weeks to a few months but to hang in there I will have a day that I wake up & actually feel normal again... Wasn't really suppose to start soft foods till Wed but she told me to go ahead & start them gradually so I came home & fixed me a soft scrambled egg w/ a lil piece of Sargenta cheese(very little) & a very very small piece of smoked beef sausage - I could feel it goin down but it didn't hurt - it did feel stuck for a brief second but it passed very quickly... I can't say I just feel full but I'm not push'n it - in a few minutes will start drinking my Water for the day... It made me feel normal to chew & although no nausea just a lot of burping... Actually meant not bruised but a lot of scar tissue... Sent from my iPhone using VST- Help Please
My surgery was 9/12 & I still have left side pain from that bigger incision... Went back to hospital on this past Wed b/c if dehydration & my side - they did a cat-scan & mine was just bruised real bad but not any issues that would cause any other issues... Good luck & yes it's normal - I've read on this site numerous people have this on the left side - I believe also that is where they pulled out the stomach... Hope yours gets better soon...
