Hey, Atkins Advantage & I talked to the nurse today & she said that due to the hiatal hernia repair it has to do a lot w/ it hurting as anything goes down & that it will subside, she said usually it takes a few weeks so I pray before I start mushy food it does stop... She said as far of my left side hurting so bad she said it's probably inflamed & to keep taking my pain pills & if the pain doesn't change by Friday on @ my 1 week follow up then she'll change my pain meds... She said moving around will help... I felt better after talking to her... I might have to try a different shake like you suggested Sent from my iPhone using VST- Scared And Confused

@newgrandmother & all that replied Ik this shall pass - I have to keep reminding myself that I just had surgery a few days ago & not months ago... I just wanna feel normal & yes I'm sure when solids come I will feel the full tight feeling & know my limit... Thanks for all te encouraging word - I'm gonna be off @ least a month from work so hopefully when I go back I will be in a better place w/ all this... I'm feeling the same way somewhat, I'm so sick of liquids & ready to eat again to feel normal - I'm not exactly sure what full feels like either... I read so much stuff where it almost feels like I will never eat the things I loved so much before & a lot of those things were healthy... I to had a monent today where I was like did I make a mistake, should I have waited... I don't like this feeling of tightness going down my chest & maybe it's just still has but I hate it... I've had tomato Soup, Water, very lil of my Protein shake, sugar free Popsicle & a lil Yoplait Greek 2x protien yogurt... Ik or @ least I hope it gets better.. This is all so strange & I'll be glad when we can @ least start mushy foods which will make us feel a lil more normal b/c right now I don't feel normal...
