Surgery date 1/4/13 Pounds lost 90+ Starting weight. 258 Now 165 Went from a size 20 to a size 10:)

I was sleeved 1/4/13 and started my pre op diet 12/28/12. I have lost 53 lbs since starting my pre op. have gone from a tight size18 to a comfortable 14. My energy and self esteem have gone through the roof. This was the best thing I have EVER done for myself and I can not believe how well everything has gone. Thank you Dr. Alverez!!!!!! You are the best!

Having my surgery tomorrow with Dr Alverez!!!!!

I went through a divorce 4 years ago when my daughters were 3 yrs old and 5 months old. By far the hardest most gut wrenching thing I have ever gone thru. Little by little I came back from the misery and what I learned is that you can overcome ANYTHING with time and God. You need to focus on your kids and how much joy they bring you. I will be sleeved this Friday and I'm doing it as much for them as for me. I want to be the best mom ever and be around for them for a long time. I can not change what he did but I can refuse to let it ruin me. You are stronger than you can even imagine!!! And in my opinion getting control of your weight will only make things better and give you the confidence to face whatever may come! Praying for you!

January 4th is my date! I love the idea if starting off a new year with this surgery to boost me into a brand new me! I will be 40 in a couple of years and I want to be in great shape by then. Also love the thought of having a few people to compare stories with as we recover and lose.

I'm scheduled for January 4th! So excited this will be my last overweight Christmas, so I'm right there with you about the Mayans! That cracked me up!!!
