  1. Congrats! Can hardly wait to join you!
  2. I have 2 lil ones. There are plenty of small utensils in the house, so I have already started using them to get a feel for my upcoming life.
  3. 5' 2.75" still counts as 5'2", right? I'm scheduled for 11-05-12. I've gained 6 lbs since I decided to do surgery. Hope to lose that and then some on the pre op diet.
  4. Mine is Nov 5th too! Yeah! Only 24 more days!
  5. Sorry. Didn't read that all the way through. I dunno. I have not had the lap band, but I do worry that I will fail with the sleeve. Once I was sick and did not eat for 12 days and lost nothing. I worry my body will just adjust to whatever I give it. All I can do is hope and try. All the best to you!
  6. Is it possible with your workout schedule that you need more calories than you are consuming? After years of yo yoing some of our bodies are pros at starvation mode.
  7. I assume if they don't stop you there is no issue. What if they do stop you? Has anyone been stopped crossing the border back to the US? I got my passport because I didn't want to take the chance of dealing with any unfortunate issues on the way home.
  8. I thought it had something to do with having less acid in the stomach due to its smaller size.
  9. I blurted it out. And then asked if he had any objections.
  10. I went to the post office. It came in two weeks, though they will say it can take up to six. It was cheaper than going through the online things. Some of them you need an appointment for though. I just called down the list that I googled til I found one that didn't require an appointment and went in. Some post offices do the photos too, but I went to Walgreens. Walmart does them too as does Costco. Hope that helps.
  11. Thanks for sharing pics! Great progress!
  12. I told everyone except my inlaws. Mother in law to be is very opinionated about everything and doesn't let stuff go, so if I tell her, she will bug her son like crazy.
  13. Looks too cute to keep indoors! Great job on the 53 lbs.
  14. One month countdown!!!!!!! So excited!
  15. Congrats! All the best to you!
  16. My passport came very quickly, and I got my flights a couple weeks ago. My friend booked 2 weeks after me, but managed to get the same flights. Still waiting on her passport though.
  17. Would like it better I the two sides stacked instead of being side by side. Looks like a good idea though. Thinking about getting one.
  18. I would ask your HR dept. since its not considered an emergent surgery, some employers have a certain number of weeks notice required.
  19. The payment arrangements likely vary for each group of coordinators. I know some price differences vary between different coordinators. I've heard lots of good things about Alma, but not til after I already scheduled my surgery. All the best to you!
